It was a very enjoyable day, but definitely too long. You are travelling a couple of hours by bus then another 45 mins by ferry to then drive around the island all day on the bus. Then you have the return trip. I felt the trip was mostly travelling to and from the location, so I would imagine the two day tour would be better. The drivers are by far very entertaining and knowledgeable. Overall a nice trip but very tiring.

Kangaroo Island is such an amazing place. I truly recommend this tour if you have only 1 day available. The schedule is very tight though.. wish we can spend more time at each places so would recommend the 2 days tour if time allows.

Did this tour several years ago and it was wonderful. It is advertised as the place for wildlife. There was a bad fire several years ago and perhaps this has affected things. Saw some sea lions but no other wildlife except a couple of kangaroos and a single koala in a sanctuary. Raptor bird show showed 4 birds. The arch and rocks are ofcourse spectacular, which one can see weather permitting. Bus driver not that friendly. If you go, fly back otherwise it's a very long day (about 16 hours). Also, bring your sea legs: the day we went it was very bad weather and we had a ferry full of seasick people.

Kangaroo is a great place and one we will return to when we have more time. It was a long day and the weather was horrendous but we wouldn't have missed it for the world. Our drivers and guides were great

We enjoyed our Kangaroo Island day and thought the Birds of Prey was a particularly fine feature. We splurged and took the flight home option and were glad we did because it was a long day. One disappointment: the bus driver gave us no commentary on the way to the ferry. We had heard that was part of the day and were sorry not to learn more the region through which we travelled.

It was a fly by on the bus. Lots of money to sit on the bus could of done it in Adelaide for free.
Maybe too many tours so not enough time allocated for each tour.

That trip was simply the best one during my stay in Australia! The island is full of wildlife undisturbed by tourist presence: sea lions, koalas, kangaroos and wallaby's not speaking of various species of birds and other creatures! Amazing! Wonderful! Very cognitive

I was impressed with the excellent organization of movement between coaches and ferries. Our driver on the island, Daniel was superb and incredibly knowledgeable of all things and history of the island..The lunch was surprising, not expecting much in the way of catering for large groups, pleasantly surprised by the meal and service. My only criticism of the day. I think the driver should have a board and each time a stop made along the way, it should be written on the board the expected return time to the coach. Not everyone spoke simple English and we were held up by late returns of people not realising we should be on our way. On a day trip like this timing is essential. Thank you for a great day out

Absolutely delightful and unique visit . Although there were several transfers involved from city coach to ferry to coach on the Island to ferry and coach again back into the city all manned by different staff care was taken at every stage to ensure no hiccups! Thank you.
