Doing what: Private Half Day Tour to Madaba, Mount Nebo and The Dead Sea
You see many bits of the Holy Land on this trip and end up floating in the Dead Sea. Modaba is in particularly lovely Jordanian town so spend some time there!

Doing what: Private Tour: Petra Day Trip from Amman
A wonderful day spent in Petra. The door-to-door service and the guides were extremely kind and knowledgable. Anyone visiting Jordon should grab the opportunity to visit Petra. It's a gem and at times you won't know where to look!

Doing what: Private Amman City Sightseeing Tour with Optional Arabic Meza Lunch
Amman is BEAUTIFUL, and the lunch was good. I was surprised to have to pay for water at lunch. As for the tour, I had no guide. I could have paid a taxi to take me to the Citadel. That's all I saw. I was a little offended by the gift shop. The driver was clearly getting a cut.

Doing what: Private Half Day Tour to Madaba and Mount Nebo
Our driver was not the best tour guide, but Mount Nebo was definitely worth a stop, especially if you are thrilled, as I am, by the religious significance of its being where Moses first saw the promised land. Madaba was a bit of a yawn.

Doing what: Private Evening Tour of Central Amman with Arabic Meza Dinner
The driver, although very nice, courteous and attentive, spoke no English, so although the tour was nice we didn't know what we were looking at and why. The dinner was awesome. Get the mint drink if you go to the "wind mill".

Doing what: Private Tour: Petra Day Trip from Amman
The only negative about this trip is there simply isn't enough time to explore the wonders of Petra but it was a day trip!

Doing what: Private Tour: Petra Day Trip from Amman
The travel team where great, our driver was entertaining & very chatty. He even ordered us some delicious dinner to take to our hotel. Petra is sensational, our tour guide had excellent knowlege & was lovely. Don't recommened the free horse ride all the animals there are malnourished, stumbling & exhausted the riders very aggressive with how much you must tip them & sandwich you between 2 of them until you pay them a price near the amount they want. It's a once in a lifetime experince the colours are beautiful & it's amazing.

Doing what: Private Tour: Petra Day Trip from Amman
Viator should delete the horse riding on this trip. You have someone leading the horse who is very aggressive in asking for a tip. Also, you miss interesting features during the kilometer ride because the guide does not stop. The horse guide wanted extra money to take me out, even though it was prepaid. Most Viator travelors would be more satified walking throughout Petra.

Doing what: Private Half Day Tour to Madaba, Mount Nebo and The Dead Sea
The driver picked us up on time. He was most pleasant and helpful. He let us choose how much time we wanted to spend in each location so long as the tour finished by the stated time. Unfortunately the Dead Sea beach club was quite dated and the facilities were poor. The food wasn't appealing either. However, a great tour if you want to see some of Jordan's key sites.

Doing what: Private Tour: Petra Day Trip from Amman
The driver was on-time, and the operator was very helpful in rescheduling our trip when the airline lost our luggage. The price paid was very high, and we were offered several cheaper alternatives upon our arrival in Amman. We would have paid a premium for the personal service, but we were disappointed about the mandatory stops for gas and souvenirs both coming and going. My wife was ill most of the day, but despite our requests to go directly back to Amman when we finished touring Petra we still stopped 3 times once for gas and two times for "rest stops" which conveniently occurred at souvenir shops. The drivers English was decent, but he was still difficult to understand at times, and was not very conversational.

Doing what: Private Half Day Tour to The Dead Sea
Very fun and interesting. Recommend combining this trip with a visit to the Jordon river where Jesus was baptized. It is very close.

Doing what: Private Tour: Petra Day Trip from Amman
First off, Petra is amazing. However, if you go to Petra and look at the prices it costs to enter, have a horse ride etc, you will feel very cheated indeed! We realised we probably paid 3-4 times higher than if we had taken a car through our hotel and paid the entrance fees at Petra. However, the guide at Petra was amazing and it was great to have the whole trip organized in advance and all under one roof. I guess it is pot luck with the driver you get to take you there. Ours was an obnoxious bore who we had to endure for 3 hours there and 3 hours back. If I were to go back again, I would check in to one of the hotels at Petra and find my own way around Petra city. Petra is amazing and definitely a must do! You get hassled a bit by little kids begging, but they are so cute your are compelled to give them some dollars.
