This trip was a long day but well worth it. Just saw so much. Voladem/Maken/ zaanse schaans and delft/hague and lastly madurodam the most magic mini netherlands
An exhausting but interesting day. Could have spent more time in the fishing villages and left out Delft
Exhausting but interesting day. Would have liked to spend more time in the fishing villages and perhaps give Delft a miss. But overall very enjoyable and well organised.
I definitely recommend this tour-what a beautiful ride through the country side! You will gain a lot of knowledge about the Netherlands, their farming, purpose of windmills, the Delft pottery making and cheese making via headsets during the drive outside the city. What an amazing day full of adventures-the guides are very informative and fun as well.
As we got underway, out guide Massimo explained his 3 rules: no cell phone usage on the bus, no talking while he was talking (yes, he required silence even while he was explaining things in other languages!) and the bus was not going to wait for you if you were late. He would suddenly stop his descriptions if he heard someone elses voice. He did not, however, stick to the "no wait" rule. The city of Delft was intriguing and a bit more time would have been nice judging by the fact that several people did not make it back to the bus on time. And yes, we waited. The drive through the Hague would have been better if we could have stopped to at least see the Peace Palace. Madurodam is a place best visited in good weather, which we didn't have.
The tour was in big group. And the tour guide spoke in 5 or 6 different languages. I found it was so annoying. We stopped for 40 minutes at Delft Porcelain which I found way too long as it was boring. We didn't stop at Rotterdam, only city tour by the bus.which was a pity. Overall I will not recommend the this tour to anyone.
Rotterdam and The Hague were a quick drive around. What you saw depended on the side of the coach you were on. Delft was the highlight. Some people abandoned the trip staying in Delft and returning to Amsterdam by train on their own. A trip to Delft alone would have been a good option.
We loved the tour of the Windmills and Delft was also interesting. The afternoon tour was also good , especially Madurodam which is an amazing accomplishment. Our guide was very pleasant and informative.
Well organised, good mixture of places visited. Driving through Rotterdam and the Hague very enlightening. Lunch stop at Delft, a lovely village where it would be good to spend a bit more time. Very enjoyable day.
Very well organised trip. All the places covered were absolutely fantastic. There was a little confusion when changing the bus in Amsterdam after returning from the windmills, as there was no guide to the second bus that we were supposed to take to Delft, Hague and Madurodam later in the afternoon. Apart from that the everything was smooth and of course Netherlands is one beautiful country to visit.
Very quick tour but is as promised, a quick tour of Holland. Wish we could have more time in Delft. We left the tour in The Hague and went into the Mauritshuis Museum where "Girl With A Pearl Earring" was housed.
The flower market first up was very interesting! Then we saw Rotterdam, not enough time there... only given 5 minutes to take photos. Then we saw Delft pottery being made which was great. Then we had an hour and a half for lunch in Delft which I thought was a bit too much really and would have preferred more time to see Rotterdam. The tour guide spoke 4 languages which was pretty amazing in itself. Overall a good day getting out of the city!
The tour was great, especially the visit to Delft in which they gave us some free time during lunch to sightsee around. The travel agency is very serious and I recommend their tours.
A tour that I would totally recommend. It was a gorgeous day to have done this tour and glad that I did. Our tour guide Maximo was great and hilarious. He was a great tour guide. We stopped in Delft where we were able to be shown how all the items are made and then on to a showroom with the finished products just in case you wanted to buy something. Note" If you are on a budget, you really wouldn't be able to buy anything. They are beautiful, very beautiful but they also cost a bit. I mean you are getting the original and good stuff. We also stopped at the auction house where we got a glimpse into how the prep the flowers for shipping like place to New York! They were beautiful and a busy warehouse. We then went on to Hague where we had some photo ops and also where we stopped to eat a nice meal. It was a great day as I said and glad I did this tour. Thank you VIATOR!
Great experience! Our tour guide was very helpful at explaining some of the details behind each stop. I wasn't overly impressed with the Delft stop, but we enjoyed the flower auction and Rotterdam. You may want to eat somewhere faster than the recommended spot, though, so you can see more things.
