This trip was a long day but well worth it. Just saw so much. Voladem/Maken/ zaanse schaans and delft/hague and lastly madurodam the most magic mini netherlands
As we got underway, out guide Massimo explained his 3 rules: no cell phone usage on the bus, no talking while he was talking (yes, he required silence even while he was explaining things in other languages!) and the bus was not going to wait for you if you were late. He would suddenly stop his descriptions if he heard someone elses voice. He did not, however, stick to the "no wait" rule. The city of Delft was intriguing and a bit more time would have been nice judging by the fact that several people did not make it back to the bus on time. And yes, we waited. The drive through the Hague would have been better if we could have stopped to at least see the Peace Palace. Madurodam is a place best visited in good weather, which we didn't have.
We arrived in Amsterdam 2 days early before boarding a Tulips River Cruise--we enjoyed this tour and it saved us money instead of paying for the optional tours offerred by the Cruiseline. Loved the morning activities but like others have stated . . . we did sleep some in the afternoon mainly because of distance traveled (also our afternoon onboard guide did not "excite" us. The miniature city in Madurodam was outstanding -- wish we could have stayed longer.
We loved the tour of the Windmills and Delft was also interesting. The afternoon tour was also good , especially Madurodam which is an amazing accomplishment. Our guide was very pleasant and informative.
Very well organised trip. All the places covered were absolutely fantastic. There was a little confusion when changing the bus in Amsterdam after returning from the windmills, as there was no guide to the second bus that we were supposed to take to Delft, Hague and Madurodam later in the afternoon. Apart from that the everything was smooth and of course Netherlands is one beautiful country to visit.
Schedule is quite tied, no time to enjoys the beautiful village in Zaane and Market. The madurodam is quite boring, and the deft pottery tour is nothing but commercial, advertising one.
This trip had some good and some bad. The windmills were nice as was Volendam, but I could have done without the ferry ride to Markeen just to see a wooden clog factory selling souvenirs. The afternoon trip was nice, but the trip to the pottery factory was unecessary. Delft itself was nice, and I would have enjoyed some more time there. The Hague was just a drive by. Madurodam was cute but would rather have spent time at the Hague and walking around there.
Nice ride - specially, in Rotterdam, Delft and Hague, where we could have had more time. Aalsmeer and Madurodam are just ok.
Excellent trip- thoroughly enjoyable and great value for money. A busy day though, so not for the faint hearted!
Both the north and south trips provided an excellent insight into the Dutch countryside, factory tours were highly interesting, and Madurodam a delight to visit.
Only minor criticism is that the recorded commentary on the north trip sometimes did not seem to fit well with what we were seeing, and repeated a lot of the same information on the return trip to Amsterdam.
Would highly reccomend!

I only undergo half tour, Windmills, Sanche Saands and Volendam. One of my friends lost his passport, so cannot join the tour. I asked for refund to Viator, but until now, there's no comment. The half tour was great, but the time given was very limited, so we were very rush here and there. At Volendam, the tour Leader didn't tell us where to take photo, luckily my friend who was living in Amsterdam told us the place. She also told us not to join the evening tour, Delft, Hague and Madurodam, because they were not interesting. Instead, she brought us to other places more interesting than the tour offered.
The trip to Zaanse Schans was the best part of the trip, although too little time was allowed to view the windmills. The time spent in Volendam was also far too litlle. In general, the morning part was reasonable.
The afternoon trip was however a total waste of time and the worst trip I have yet booked through Viator (I would not even give this part one star). Most of the time was spent in a Delft shop, with no time in The Hague apart from Madurodam, which will mostly interest children. A better option would be to allow free time in The Hague as an alternative to Madurodam and to cut out the visit to the Delft "factory". Nobody on the tour was in any case remotely interested in buying the overpriced articles on sale.
