Doing what: Amsterdam Super Saver 3: City Tour, Zaanse Schans Windmills, Volendam and Marken Day Trip
This is a must do tour the country side of the Netherlands marks no resemblance to the city centre Amsterdam.
A must is trying the local fish n' chips in Volendam - what can I say except for 'WOW' their fish soup is another 'WOW' factor.
From visiting the cheese factory to watching the making of the wooden clogs what an amazing experience, certainly not to be missed.
The only suggestion I would have for the company who organises these tours is to omit the city tour in the morning and just head straight into the country side so that you have time to look around after the demonstrations and not feel so rushed. Otherwise the places visited were fantastic, just wish we had more time in each location, especially in the lunch stop location.

Doing what: Amsterdam Super Saver 2: Windmills, Delft, The Hague and Madurodam Day Trip
Well organized tour. We got to see a couple of places all in one day. It would be great if we get to stop at The Hague a little longer.

Doing what: Amsterdam Super Saver: Zaanse Schans Windmills, Volendam and Marken Half-Day Tour plus Keukenhof Gardens Tour
We would have liked this to be an all day tour as we did not get near enough time at each place to enjoy all they had to offer, especially at the windmills.

Doing what: Zaanse Schans Windmills, Marken and Volendam Half-Day Trip from Amsterdam
This was an interesting tour and when at a good pace. The tour guide was excellent and got around to speak to each of the tour group. The day we went it was cold but it was still a good day. We would have liked a bit more time in Volendam to explore.

Doing what: Amsterdam Super Saver 2: Windmills, Delft, The Hague and Madurodam Day Trip
The first part of the trip (Windmills, Marken, Volendam) was amazing and worth to go.
The second part was boring and not worth at all.
Madurodam is exciting for kids to enjoy the toys and games but not for adult.

Doing what: Amsterdam Super Saver: Zaanse Schans Windmills, Volendam and Marken Half-Day Tour plus Keukenhof Gardens Tour
Well we loved everything we saw, but to be honest we all felt it was a bit rushed. In particular when we got to the windmills. There was plenty there to see but we didnt get the time. Didnt exactly see the cheese been made either. Just a very quick sales pitch.
that village was lovely, but again there wasnt time to roam around for long especially if you were trying to find time to fit in a stop for a coffee or snack. By the time we got to the gardens we were all starving. So the first hour in the garden was spent the first hour eating. which only left two hours or so for the gardens. saying all that, we still had a great day, the tour guides were great. good value for money too. If I was to give advise. I would say if you have the time spread this excursion over two days. give the garden a day to itself. you could easily get there at ten,ish stop for a long lunch and continue again till 4 ish. there was 13 people in our group, we all had the same opinion. If you only have a weekend in amsterdam then this is the fit it all in trip.

Doing what: Amsterdam Super Saver 2: Windmills, Delft, The Hague and Madurodam Day Trip
This is a full and busy day but you get to see a lot of things and it is worth it! One word of caution: Be sure to set your watch by the clock on the tour bus because they DEPART using THAT clock -- and when they say they are leaving at 2:00 they do mean 2:00 on the dot! We almost got left at the Windmills -- the bus was pulling off.

One of the more commercialized tours, but overall enjoyable and we got to see the countryside.

Doing what: Zaanse Schans Windmills, Marken and Volendam Half-Day Trip from Amsterdam
We really enjoyed visiting Maren and Volendam; however, what we really wanted to see was Zaanse Schans and we went there last and everything was closed and we did not get to go in the Windmill. I would like to have that at the first of the trip when everything is open.
