Doing what: I amsterdam Card - City Pass for Amsterdam

Very good bargain. Great tram system in Amsterdam, and did we use it. The best part about the museum passes was being able to just go in and not wait in the tremendous lines.

Doing what: Amsterdam Walking Tour

This was our first morning in Amsterdam and the lovely tour guide Esther did not disapoint. Her tour was entertaining and her knowledge amazing. Being a local, she was happy to recommend places to go and see. The 3 hours flew by and we wished it was longer, as her company was so much fun. Many of the things she told us has retained in our memory, so we could recognise places again and again with the history day after day! Please book this tour if visiting as it's a great way to see the city, understand it's history and have fun whilst doing so, but ask for Esther! Thank you for a great tour.

Doing what: Amsterdam Walking Tour

I bought this tour for my husband and me. We landed in the early hours of a Saturday morning in February and rushed straight to Dam square for the tour. From start to finish, the tour was fantastic. We were visiting out of peak time, so our group was very small (there were just 5 of us) and Terry really catered to our every need. Terry who is originally from Ireland has been living in Amsterdam for a number of years and knew a huge amount about the city and and its history. He was willing to answer all manner of questions about all the areas we walked through. The tour allowed us to see all important areas of the city and meant that during our short stay there we felt confident to explore the city on our own during our stay. Great value for money- I would definitely recommend this!!

Doing what: Skip the Line: Amsterdam and Holland Pass

This was wonderful but we had to much to do in too little time. THe 2 day pass was excellent. I was disappointed that the Van Gogh exhibit was closed and the one that was open charged a fee.
Also would like to have the tour of Ann Frank house included in the package.
Disappointed on the Countryside and Windmill Tour. Mom had difficulty keepiong up because they 1)Left us and we didn't know where they were going.and had to walk all over to find them! 2) Were driving off without her while she was waiting to go to the bathroom.3) there were not accomodations for a senior citizen going to the toilets. All are upstairs or downstairs. All in all it was a wonderful trip though!

Doing what: Amsterdam Walking Tour

I think the tour was good and informational - we saw a good amount of the city but I think using central station as a point of reference rather than dam square I find more useful than where the tour started. While it makes sense and seeing dam square is important, I had a difficult time getting my bearings while I was there.

Doing what: Amsterdam Walking Tour

A fascinating insight into the city and its history and a great way of seeing all the key sights in one go, all brought to vivid life by the guide (an Irishman who's lived there for nearly a decade) who was not only extremely knowledgeable but very friendly as well.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Amsterdam and Holland Pass

I am very happy that I bought Skip the line pass. First of all its a great saving as for 33 euros each we had a full day trip to Tulip Gardens ( other people paid 42 euros) plus 24 hours ticket on public transport (cost 7.50 euros) plus discounts at Hermitage and Heineken experience. I recommend this to everyone.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Amsterdam and Holland Pass

I had reviewed other visitor comments so I knew exactly how to plan my trip. I think that it is key to plan and know what I you wish to do, then you can save money . I bought the HP 5 and that was all I needed for the 3 full days that I spent in Amsterdam. My trip was overall good but hit a rough patch when my wallet was stolen. However , believe it or not the police caught the thief and returned it to me without any loss.I am so thankful to see that the Amsterdam police were on the alert and the system worked ,at least for me. Please be very careful in Amsterdam ,just like elsewhere in Europe.
