The tour of the Delft factory was quite interesting. We didn't realize that the delft ware was all done by hand. It was also interesting to see The Hague was a city not just an international court. Though we expected the Madurodam miniatures to be ho hum they were quite detailed with operating trains and boats going through locks.

Loved Delft. Thought all the government buildings in The Hague was boring. Was amazed at the miniature buildings in Madurodam.

Hubby and I was late due to train breakdown, however was offered by the kind manager of the tour company, Mr. Erik, personally driving us to join the group at Volendam. The guide is very knowledgeable and the driver was excellent. Except for The Hague, which we were just taken around the place on the coach, we really enjoyed the trip especially at the fishing village (Volendam and Markem) and Zaanse Schans Windmills. Time at Madurodam was also limited.

we enjoyed a lot this trip, the view from Euromass,Delft, the guide(very gentle, a woman, I don't remeber the name) adviced also to visit by ourselves De Nieuwe Kerk Delft with the grave of Guglielmo D'Orange.Instead of Madurodam, I'd rather prefer a short stay al Hague, near Mauritshuis. I highly recommend this trip also for older people, because you can see beutiful places, and you don't have to walk a lot. We are looking always after one day trip with Viator, well organized, by the way, we'll be in Germany in August, one day trip from Berlin to Dresda, and another one from Hamburg to Lubecca.

We would highly recommend the visit in the morning to the windmills.
In the afternoon we would have preferred to have had a stop in the Hague and reduced the time spent at Madurodam.

Excellent trip. Only suggestion is to cut down the drive thru The Hague and give the extra time saved for the Madurodam Park.

Delft factory most interesting, I purchased there. The Hague was a drive by-interesting. Madurodam was a surprise.

Our tour was lead by Anna, who was very informative and professional. The windmills were very good as was our drive past the Hague. Too much time spent at Madurodam. I feel it is a place that once you've seen it - there isn't much else to do. Our visit to Delft I feel was wasted as you are taken to only one factory that is clearly a frequented by tour buses and is out of the way of other places selling similar items. You are best to wait and go shopping for Delft items when in a city. It was implied that the factory visited was the only authentic factory able to produce Delft products when in fact this is not true. Overall a good tour and would recommend. Was a very large tour. Commentary in multiple languages - which is ok if you want to listen to talking all day long. Would still recommend though.

Well organized tour. We got to see a couple of places all in one day. It would be great if we get to stop at The Hague a little longer.

The review is exactly what it says it is. A trip to Rotterdam and a trip up the Euromast Tower (great views--bring a camera), a tour through the Hague (I would have loved to go to the Peace Palace--well, next time I'm in the Netherlands!), a tour of a Delft factory (fascinating to see how it is done), time to be in Delft for lunch, and then a short trip to Madurodam (a very intriguing place). The guide was very knowledgeable and courteous. It was a great trip!

The only thing I was disappointed with on this tour is I was under the impression the city tours of Rotterdam and The Hague would be walking tours, not confined to a bus where we didn't even get the opportunity to get any decent photos. The visit we had to Delft and Madurodam were both very good.

Amazing trip, well organised, friendly and efficient guides. Loved the places and the fantastic itinerary that paints a lovely picture of the country literally! Only wish there were more photo stops in the Hague. The only unfortunate thing was the gloomy weather which is beyond anybody.

We really enjoyed our afternoon touring Delft, The Hague and Madurodam - all must-sees if you are planning a trip to the Netherlands. Madurodam is an engineer's and child's dream come true! The Hague is a beautiful town which i'd like to re-visit. And Delft, the home of the blue and while pottery is a very pretty college town with lots of history and interesting shops to poke about in. There's more to Holland than Amsterdam!!
