This was a great way to see Amsterdam. We were easily able to get off and go see different sights like the Van Gogh Museum.

A really good way to get around and see the sights. If you're a fan of Van Gogh's work it is well worth having the pass. The line was several hundred metres long when we arrived and it was great to be able to walk up to the "skip the queue" queue which was only 5 metres long.

Firstly - Definitely recommend buying the Van Gogh Museum Prepaid Ticket - we got to skip a line of about 100 people to get in because we planned ahead!!
Secondly - the Canal bus Hop On Hop Off is a great idea. It gets you around to so many places with ease but is also a beautiful way to see the city from the canals.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Amsterdam and Holland Pass

The Amsterdam and Holland Pass is an excellent pass/card, that we used during our stay in Holland on this past August 2012. The pass is a great value for your money, as you can use the different stamps on the different atractions you want to go to, and you don't have to go to specific attractions, you get to choose on which attractions you use the stamps. This is the best of all, as there are many attractions and museums to choose from in Holland and you may like to go to some other attractions that other people. Also we found that it was great to skip the long lines at the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, which saves you a lot of time that you can use in a busy city like Amsterdam, where there are a lot of things to do and see, and avoid the inconvenience of standing and getting tired, plus wasting your time. The discounts in the different restaurants and shops were very good too. We really recommend this to anyone who is travelling to Holland. The guide book that you get with this is very good too, as it has the information you need, location of the attractions, times and days they are open and close. Also it is very convinient to be able to get it at the Amsterdam Schipol Airport, when you arrive in Holland. And it is great that this pass is good for about a year. We got the Amsterdam and Holland Pass 7, that gave us the choice of getting free entrance tickets into 7 different attractions on different days. We also got discount on other attractions and restaurants. In addition we got a very good bus city tour, included on this pass.

The Skip the Line: Van Gogh Museum was so worth it. It saved us from an hour plus line up. We got in within 5 minutes of our arrival. The Hop-On Hop-Off 48 hour pass worked out well and we enjoyed all three lines. Dan S from Canada

The canal bus hop on hop off day pass was the best way to see Amsterdam without walking everywhere. We "cruised" all the canals, got off where we wanted, and reboarded another canal bus. I am so glad we included the skip the line Van Gogh museum pass. We would still be standing in line! What a savings of time.

so simple - handed over voucher for canals which was excellent and the van gogh voucher could be used next day which was great as canal network quite extensive. queues at museum were enormous on sunday so fantastic for us.

This was terrific. Was a rainy day but the tour boats are all covered. had plenty of time to see all 3 routes. The skip the line ticket at the Van Gogh saved lots of time. no wait.

it worked and we skipped the line. The Van Gogh is not to be missed on your visit to Amsterdam.

Van Gogh is one of my favorites and I thought I knew what to expect but I was amazed by the number of pieces and the great job they did to show the growth in his talent.

I am glad we were able to see these outstanding works of Van Gogh.

LOVED this tour! A great way to see the Canal's of Amsterdam, learn a lot of history about the city, and enjoy a relaxing boat ride. I also really enjoyed the Van Gogh Museum, and being able to skip the long line of people waiting to buy tickets. Highly recommend this tour!!

Doing what: Skip the Line: Amsterdam and Holland Pass

Well worth the money - especially for the "skip the line" feature. It should be more clearly stated that when you are selecting your 2 museum admissions that you cannot select both the Van Gogh and the Rijks museum.

Everything worked perfectly, we collected the tickets, missed the main queues at the van Gogh museum and spent the rest of the day on and off the canal buses. Great day would use service again.

Doing what: I amsterdam Card - City Pass for Amsterdam

Definitely worth getting the card, which saves the hustle of buying light rail tickets and museum entries. At the Van Gogh Museum, we were still asked to stand in queue for the entry, but the line moved fairly fast.
