I am glad we were able to see these outstanding works of Van Gogh.

Don't waste money! Museums like Rijkmuseum, Heineken and some others do not accept this card!

The I amsterdam Card is an absolute must when visiting Amsterdam. Everything about the card is worthwhile - free entry, discounts, unlimited transport, canal trip. The only thing to be aware of is that if you are collecting your tickets from the tourist office opposite Central Station you need to get a ticket number which you use to queue and will be call on when an operator is available. This is not made clear at all within the tourist office nor is the ticket machine in a prominent position.

I only gave this 3 stars as the card in itself was great, but we paid for a 48 hr pass and should have been told when we bought the card that there was a holiday in that time frame and no buses or public transportation, and many things that were ciovered on the card were not open as it was the Queen's Holiday. So 24 hours were a complete waste of money. We should have been advised of this at time of booking

I purchased the I amsterdam card for my 2 day Amsterdam trip in April during Queens Day weekend. The card was so useful when it came to transportation on the trams in central Amsterdam. All we had to do was decide which tram took us to a particular museum and we just scan our cards on the tram and on our way. Trams could get very crowded so it was hard at times to scan yourseld off. But none the less we managed. It was a breeze getting into museums especially since so many were free with the card. I especially enjoyed the free canal cruise and its definitely a must to do while there. The card also allowed us to get into the Heineken Museum for a discounted rate which is a plus where that is a very popular attraction. Didn't really use the card to purchase food since most restaurants compete so their prices on food specials were a great deal. All in all it was definitely a great experience and thanks to the I amsterdam card it gave us the "key to the city".

Holland Pass was good, as long as you are doing a lot of tours, etc. It is easy to get your money back. Everything is fabulous!

The boat ride was great and convenient, the skip the line pass was a bit confusing.

We found this pass to be very user friendly and financially worthwhile. We saw more of the city than we would have without it. The transportation system is easy enough to use. I would definitely recommend this pass especially to first time visitors like us.

Great card. Saved us money and encouraged us to visit museums we wouldn't have thought about.
The travel card is a useful bonus espcially for the trams.

Good deal and worth the price if you want to see all the museums.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Amsterdam and Holland Pass

Enjoyed using the pass to visit museums and the discount bonus at several shops. As mentioned in my other review I think all voucher redemption locations should be at one central location, thank you.

Although the pass was well worth the cost, I found that we did not use the "wooden shoe" coupons. It was also very difficult to find the "free" tour--every place we went into sent us somewhere else. It was, however, worthwhile just for the "skip the line" feature at the museums. I liked the fact that it was not a timed pass--we used a pass in Paris that had to be used in two days--did not like the timed feature. I would choose your pass again.

Doing what: Skip the Line: Amsterdam and Holland Pass

Average use of the tickets - we were not allowed to use the public transportation for free as it was mentioned!

LOVED this tour! A great way to see the Canal's of Amsterdam, learn a lot of history about the city, and enjoy a relaxing boat ride. I also really enjoyed the Van Gogh Museum, and being able to skip the long line of people waiting to buy tickets. Highly recommend this tour!!

Doing what: I amsterdam Card - City Pass for Amsterdam

A group of friends went on a riverboat cruise through the Netherlands and Belgium, afterwards we checked into a hotel for three days and bought I Amsterdam tickets. We each had a list of things that we wanted to see in Amsterdam. The I Amsterdam pass allowed us to see those destinations, travel easily on the public transportation, and try some things that we probably would not have thought to try or known about. We were busy the whole three days, and throughly enjoyed the city and our trip. We highly recommend these passes to anyone visiting the city!
