Exploring Amsterdam’s Canals

The experience was wonderful. The timing of the dinner was masterful. We started eating about 10-15 minutes into the cruise, and ended eating about 10-15 minutes before the end. Food and service were excellent.

The view of the town from the canal was an interesting experience for this Yank.

Great tour. The boat was warm even though the evening was pretty cold. Our glasses were never empty and the cheese was delicious. The salted peanuts were outstanding! Amsterdam is beautifully lit at night and the tour was an unhurried cruise through delightful canals.

the dinner cruise to be honest my wife and i did not expect this to be any way different from anything that we have done in the past but boy was i wrong right from the start to th finish the whole experence was fantastic the reception we received was superb right from the chef and her staff to the chap who was manning the boat to see Amsterdam at night from the cruise was fantastic the lovely house boats to the appartments and the wonderful chandellers they have and the churches all lit up and to see the red light district in a different light thanks for a fantastic trip around the canals of Amsterdam

Excellent ! This dinner cruise was a highlight of our trip. Even with icy canals the crew and cruise was very enjoyable. I definitely would do this again! Food was great!

It was very enjoyable and relaxing. The food was good and just cruising the canals and eating pizza was a great way to spend the night. Cost was reasonable considering that food in Amsterdam is pretty expensive and this included dinner and the canal cruise. Would do it again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our canal dinner cruise...the food was delicious, the presentation was excellent and the service was superb. The narrative during the cruise was very informative but not to the point that we couldn't savor our meal. We were traveling with my handicapped sister in law and the courtesy and help you gave her was truly appreciated. We expressed our pleasure with our travel agent which she duly noted. Thank you.

The best thing we did in Amsterdam. Excellent meal, excellent service, excellent driver. A great way to see all the main canals of Amsterdam in style. We were pleased that as a couple you are seated at a table for two. Due to daylight saving we only saw the lights on the canals for the last part of the cruise but it was great to be able to see the sights in daylight anyway. A fabulous evening.

Loved the Hop-On Hop-Off Canal Boat. With three different routes, the boats took us to or near almost every place in Amsterdam we wanted to go. It was convenient not only to our hotel, but also to our cruise ship. The rides included recorded highlights available in several languages. The default language is English but by simply asking the driver the tour other languages can be added so no one need be left out. Our two-day ticket was just right!!!

The canal bus hop on hop off day pass was the best way to see Amsterdam without walking everywhere. We "cruised" all the canals, got off where we wanted, and reboarded another canal bus. I am so glad we included the skip the line Van Gogh museum pass. We would still be standing in line! What a savings of time.

This was one of the highlights of our stay and a complete contrast to the seedy 'tourist' area where we were staying. If you go to Amsterdam you have to take a canal cruise!

We really enjoyed our canal cruise, and it was convenient having booked it in advance. We had a little trouble finding the landing point. It's in front of the train station, but you have to cross the bridge to get to it. It was a great introduction to the city.

My husband and I did this cruise to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary, very nice and relaxing. The food was nice if a little different. Cruising along the canals was pleasant. The staff on board the boat were lovely and friendly. A nice way to spend an evening.

Loved this cruse especially as it was during the Queens weekend celebrations. The canals had all sorts of craft on them and people all along the banks. There was much merriment and atmosphere. Wonderful sights and awesome to see Amsterdam by night. Would recommend this tour and would like to do the dinner cruise if we visit the city again.

This cruise was worth every penny spent on it, the guide was excellent adding a bit of humour now and then, she had very good knowledge of her surroundings, the cheese and wine good served by a very helpful and attentive waitress. All in all I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting a good view of the canal system, it gave us a good foundation for our city walk about the following day. Keep up the good work. Lucky we missed the rain, it poured down on our way back to the hotel.
