Doing what: Disneyland Resort Character Dining
Awesome! We loved seeing all the characters. Food wasn't bad for a buffet. Great time to eat at 10:30am as well. It kept us full most of the day. Would do this again for sure!

Doing what: Disneyland Resort Character Dining
My only complaint is that I was not provided instructions on using the voucher. It can't be presented at the restaurant, it must be exchanged at the ticket offices at the entrance of the park. I had to pay for the meal, leave the park, exchange voucher, then go back to the restaurant for a credit.

Doing what: 2-Day Disneyland Resort Ticket
There was an issue with my ticket when we got to the ticket office. Apparently the staff working had not seen a pre paid ticket before and so didn't think the booking number would work. However it did and we had an amazing time! My 11 year old son loved California Adventure park and we went on a few rides. The lines were quite long though and it wasn't much fun in the heat (was "unseasonally" warm when we were there, around 104 degrees). Disneyland kept us busy, with lots to see, however was disappointed with the fact that both parks had rides closed during the day at various times, for various reasons (operator having tea, it was too hot for gates to open......). We spent nearly 2 full days exploring, but found it really wasn't long enough as we also wanted to explore Downtown Disney, which is the shopping precinct located adjacent to both parks. Overall, had a great time and are already planning a trip back!!

Great way of seeing all the parks and saving some money however we missed the small print that you have to exchange the voucher from Disney which meant a reorganisation of our plans but once that was done it was very easy to use.

Doing what: 2-Day Disneyland Resort Ticket
Bought a 2 day pass. Did old Disneyland day 1. Good but mainly for young kids and families. Did Disneyland California (new) opposite on day 2, which was new and exciting, some of the rides were simply awesome. Well worth a visit.

Doing what: Disneyland Resort Character Dining
This was the best breakfast dining. The characters were very friendly and my three year old granddaughter loved Minnie. Thanks for the great suggestion Michael!!!

Doing what: Southern California CityPASS
We had only one week in Los Angeles and spent 5 or those days using this pass. In hindsight, I would have liked to spend more days seeing the sights of L.A. outside the amusement parks (those were my wife's decision) but the parks were also wonderful, Disney especially. Disney opens at 8 (even sometimes possible at 7) and doesn't close until midnight so be ready to burn the midnight oil to take full advantage. There's plenty to do, even without kids in tow. In SeaWorld and Universal we spent A LOT extra to get front of the line passes which definitely helped us to see more, and provided premium seating at the shows which was wonderful. Disney doesn't offer this but has a more democratic system that all pass holders can reserve a time and come back to the main attractions and not wait so long. I advise using that to the fullest extent.

We travelled to LA in our easter break...it was great and the Citypass was truly a great deal!it was simple to get it too....we would recommend it especially as it covers the three important theme parks.
