This was one of the best experiences of my life. The rooms on the ship are clean and beautiful. The staff are accommodating, friendly and extremely helpful. The best part is that you get your own private guide. I believe I had the best guide in all of Egypt. He was highly qualified, extremely knowledgeable, and super fun to be around!

Excellent value for money. Private guide means private guide! Our guide, Hatem Saman met us at our accommodation and we started with a land tour in Aswan. We boarded the boat for lunch and and were pleased with the quality of the boat. Hatem accompanied us on the boat. At first this seemed weird, but we soon realised other people also had their own guide. This is much better than being in a group, you get the type of tour you want. Hatem was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Egyptology. He gave us time to look around ourselves and made the tours enjoyable. We were able to skip the things we didnt want to do and do more of the things that interested us. The tour is not exactly 4 days as everyone leaves the boat after an early breakfast on Day 4. Many people went on to do extra tours with their guide on Day 4 but we were heading to the Red Sea, so it suited us perfectly. The only difference I can see in this tour and longer tours offered by other companies is that the longer tours seem to have more days at leisure.

The boat was clean and spacious. Some staff were rude. The price of drinks, including water and tea was exorbitant, and then we were required to pay an amount for tips at the end of the cruise. An expensive holiday by Egypt standards.

Doing what: 4-Day Nile River Cruise from Aswan to Luxor with Optional Private Guide

This trip made my stay in Egypt worth while. Best way to see Egypt is to take a Nile cruise from Aswan to Cairo so that all the site seeing activities are covered. This cruise would leave you with least tension of arranging your own daily tours. Service, food and journey was flawless.

After roughing it on a tour for a couple of weeks, this is a great way to see the remainder of Egypt's treasures. Our cabin was huge, with everything that you could wish for. Our Cabin boys were a hoot - making different creations from towels at each room service which is twice a day! The food buffet was very comprehensive although they are quite pedantic about sticking to times and seats. We used the pool. massage, billiards table, internet - be aware that everything comes with a cost.

The tour is great, sightseeing is amazing and the tour guide is very patient. The only down side is the food on board is quite boring, almost the same everyday. Apart from that everything is great!

The trip was great and we enjoyed everything about it!

Excellent guide - Halim Naeim Ghaly - very knowledgeable a sense of humour. Felucca ride was a real highlight. Cruise ship was well organised & everyone was friendly and helpful. I would have liked to have taken the longer trip - we took the 4 day.

Doing what: 5-Day Nile River Cruise from Luxor to Aswan with Optional Private Guide

Packed full of interesting tours while at the same time plenty of time to relax and enjoy the cruise. Food was great with plenty of dishes to choose at each meal and plenty of variety across meals. We had a dedicated guide for the 2 of us so we could see as much or as little as we wanted and vary our program to suit and our guide helped us with our extras like train tickets and finding ATM and pharmacy. Cruise staff helpful and friendly.

It was a fantastic trip that we had wanted to make for many years. The monuments of Upper Egypt are definitely worth seeing. We went at Easter and at that time of year there are hordes of tourists like us! But it was still great. The boat was very nice and food better than expected. The local travel company was very correct and reliable in its dealings with us.

I could not have asked for a better cruise. We travelled with our two kids, ages 10 and 4 and they had a fantastic time. Our personal guide was amazing. He really knew his stuff. The boat was clean, the rooms were comfy and the food was delicious. I Highly Recommend this cruise!

The service was very good and the food varied. A very relaxing cruise.

My egyptian guide, Halim Ghaly, is an excellent guide who straight away click off with us upon our arrival. He is always there in the boat when he should be there. Provide worthy informations and total sincere.

Doing what: 4-Day Nile River Cruise from Aswan to Luxor with Optional Private Guide

The cruise exceeded our expectations and the staff on the Mirage were excellent. The food was good with some delicious soups. We felt happy to eat everything and were absolutely fine. Our private guide was both charming and knowledgable. We learnt so much from him. The days were a good mix of culture and relaxation whilst watching life on the Nile. A fascinating trip.
