It was definately a wonderful way to see the Nile!

A very clean ship and very helpful staff

The cruise was a lot of fun, and the boat was very nice! The crew were helpful and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Overall this trip was a very enjoyable experience, I wish we had done the 9 day cruise! The only thing I would change is to include non-alcoholic beverages in the package. I wouldn't mind paying a little more for that!

I really enjoyed the cruise and the great guide, but having to pay for non-alcoholic drinks is not good customer service! Change that, and I would highly recommend Viator!

Doing what: Private Tour: Abu Simbel Flight and Tour from Aswan

I really liked the tour even though it was very expensive, but it is worth it! The only thing that I didn't really like was that we only had about an hour at Abu Simbel. We had to rush a little bit but we were able to see everything.

Doing what: Private Tour: Abu Simbel Flight and Tour from Aswan

This tour was way overpriced almost double compared to the prices we saw local tour operators selling it for. While the transfers to and from the airport and site were very smooth and the staff friendly and helpful, we found our "Egyptologist guide" to be totally inadequate, lacking enthusiasm, and not as knowledgeable as the guides we had in other parts of Egypt. The visit to Abu Simbel is recommended for any trip to Egypt, and the flight is fast and convenient, but book it elsewhere.

The whole trip was wonderful: the boat was classy, the food was good and plentiful, and the staff was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised to have a personal tour guide from start to finish for just my wife and I.

Book without the tour guide if you want to save money. You'll be fine on your own, esp. if you read your guidebook before going.

Food, accommodation and staff excellent. Time ashore on cruising day a bit too limited. Overall very happy.

Good overview of the Aswan, although the High Dam is a little anticlimatic. Philae Temple caps the trip, after seeing Giza, Sakkara, Luxor, Karnak, Abydos, and Dendara. Would have liked a little more time to explore on the island. Obelisk is incredible, although our guide gave us a short introduction and then left us to wander. We enjoyed the freedom, but did have additional questions and were immediately targeted by baksheesh-hungry tourist police. Well worth it.

The mirage was clean and beautiful, food was fabulous and crew wonderful. Disappointed with our guide.

We had trouble booking this flight directly on Egypt Air's website for the day we wanted to go, but Viator had the flights. That said, the plane was only part full, there are free bus transfers to the temples, and a guide is included for each group or even a single person with your entrance ticket 80 Egyptian pounds per person.

The boat is clean, the food correct and the staff friendly. Our guide was helpful as well. However, for the expensive price especially by Egyptian standards, I was expecting more. The boat is actually cruising only 1 day, so it is probably a much better deal to book very good hotels and to take the train from Aswan to Luxor.

Cruise was fantastic, really relaxing, great activities and a fun way to travel. Our guide made our trip! We loved her, she kept us on our toes, and had a great sense of humour. She was really kind and considerate of us and we learned a lot and saw some amazing sites. Definitely was the best part of our trip!!!

An excellent way to experience the Nile and what it has to offer while sitting on top deck surveying the change of scenery, from farming, to fishing, palm trees and lush vegetation to historical sites. The boat trip was well worth our time. The food was excellent with a good variety and pleasant staff. Cabins clean and bright. We are normally independent travelers and this was a welcome change. The private guide was just OK, left us on our own quite a bit which was great as we do our own reading and exploring but for people who don't prepare themselves they would be missing a lot of history and explanations - which is not good. The different modes of transport should be looked at - using a mini bus for just 2 people is not economical or fuel efficient, especially when there were at least 3 different groups of either 2 or 3 people and each group used a different mini bus - not good. We enjoyed the over all experience and think 3 nights on the boat is definitely long enough.
