Acropolis and Clear Blue Sky.
One of the many monuments you get to visit
It was a little breezy up-top but it was a great way of seeing the sights and getting photos.
The buses generally run every 30 minutes. Blue line goes to Piraeus and the Red line does the circular tour of Athens. We bought a combined pass for both buses, which was good value.

These signs are placed all over the city. You can easily go up to one and wait for the bus to come. It really does come every 30 minutes during winter season.
After the Acropolis and the bus tour the Plaka is a lovely place to explore, shop and get some great food.
The Erechtheon with the Porch of the Maidens on the side. The Parthenon is under reconstruction - still amazing to see but the scaffolding doesn't make for pretty pictures.
We went wandering and ended up in a park on a hill opposite the Acropolis. What a great view!
