My tour was upgraded to the tour of the Acropolis and the New Acropolis museum, then I was switched to the afternoon Cape Sounion tour. Both guides were very knowledgeable and thorough. I would recommend these tours.
The tour was informative and the places visited are part and package of Athens where it doesn't seem like you have been there if you did not visit them. Do expect the road trip to take a few hours from Athens central city. The tour guide was knowledgeable and provided enough descriptions but it would be better if they had been less abrupt and more pleasant. I would assume the service may be better during less peak seasons.
Cape Sounion is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Aphrodite was our guide, and she was very knowledgeable. My only wish is that there was more time to spend just being at the site
This was one of the funniest tours of the entire trip! College students were protesting, bus couldn't get to hotel, we walked with tour rep. to another hotel to collect other participants, then walked several more blocks to another hotel where others were waiting. Guide decided we should ride tram to location where bus was waiting. Finally got on our way and the bus broke down. Had to wait for another bus, which arrived quickly, but by now, we were an hour late starting. The guide was very thoughtful and risked her life crossing busy avenue to purchase bottled water while we waited for second bus. On way to Cape Sounion, passenger is front row seat became car sick and another quick bus stop was required. Really felt sorry for guide who handled it all with professionalism.
We ended up not doing the walking tour but the bus tour instead which we thoroughly enjoyed and then had the same guide in the afternoon to Cape Sounion. Guide was very good on both tours.
I was confused when told thee wasn't a walking tour but was a driving tour and we had to pay for entry into the Acropolis and museum while all of the others the cost was included. I'm not sure the drive from a hotel to the Acropolis was worth the cost of the tickets. The Cape and Temple was what I paid for.
The nice thing about this tour is that the site is an easy bus ride from Athens yet far enough away to cut down on the crowds.
Very informative. Amazing views. You get to see a lot with a short drive. Totally a surprise. I recommend this for anyone who loves water, mountains and mesmerizing view.
Excellent. Guide was fantastic. Cape Sounion was the highlight for me. Maybe time it a little different to catch the sunset while you are at the cape.
A lovely afternoon tour to the impressive Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion, Greece. The drive itself from Athens offers picturesque views of the coastline heading south to the Cape, whilst the location of the Temple itself is truly spectacular. The tour guide was very thorough in her commentaries. A very pleasant short trip.
First tour walking to Acropolis was interesting, the guide (sorry I didn't catch her name) was informative and knowledgeable. The afternoon trip to cape Sounion was really good, it was interesting to see all the villas in the suburbs, the beaches and so on. Good guide Daphne, gave us all the informations on the way.
Beautiful drive along the coast followed by gorgeous sunset at Cape Sounion.
We had a good time, the view and site and of course history are extraordinary. I just expected to be there for the sunset...but the Chatours picked us up too early for that. All in all it was a good experience.
all were good but i hoped to see the sun set and I could not because the return
It was good with a lot of good views however other than the Temple that is all you get is views of the Sea. It would have been a lot better if there was a short stop to be able to put our feet in the water. The ride was extremely rough and actually hurt my back so be prepared if you choose this tour.
