Doing what: Jet Boat Ride on Waitemata Harbour

It was very good and the staff were great. The biggest disappointment was that it was booked on line and when we arrived were told it had been rejected but we had not been notified in any way. This certainly gives the impression of being unprofessional

The peninsula was beautiful but we booked this tour principally to dig in the sand and bathe in the hot water springs. It was very obvious that the driver did not want us to do this said his spade was still brand new. Surprise surprise we ran out of time. we did see the Cathedral rock but it was too strenuous for three of our bus load. I certainly only spent a few minutes down there before commencing the climb back up as I did not want to hold the others up. I feel strongly that these issues were not mentioned in your description. The bus driver was very polite but we did not want to hear either his life story or his singing. Very disappointing trip unlike the one the previous day to The bay of Islands where we had a fantastic driver who went out of his way to make sure everyone was catered for and told us many interesting facts about the area. Did not learn much on the Coramandel tour at all.

It was a perfect day and our tour guide was INCREDIBLE!

Tiritiri Matangi is a life changing experience: Almost what New Zealand's great bird song was like before the arrival of humans and pests. The native bush is only around 30 years old as the island was farmed for a long time after the arrival of humans. Great island.

Rangitoto and Motutapu is great for views of the city - and recently freed of pests aswell. How ever don't expect the bird song you would find at Tiritiri Matangi for a while yet.

Tiri tiri matangi is exeptional for its bird life, and a stunning island.
Rangitoto and motutapu offer great views of the city - and have been recently made a pest free. However since they have only recently been rid of pests don't expect the numbers and the many different species of birds found on Tiritiri Matangi here for a while yet!
