Doing what: Waitomo Caves and Rotorua Day Trip from Auckland
Loved this tour. It is a very long day but I highly recommend it for someone on a short stay in Auckland as I was. The caves were amazing and a must do. The time spent in Rotorua was a bit short as there is so much to do and see but it gives a an overall picture of the area and the local tour guide was very informative.

Doing what: Bay of Islands Day Tour from Auckland
The tour is well organized and everything went smoothly. Our criticism is of the commentary on the way up to the Bay of Islands. The driver spoke too fast for foreigners to understand (I am seeing New Zealand with a German friend who speaks good English but needs it spoken clearly). The volume was high. The content was very mixed in quality. Information on life in NZ was mixed with useless information about his own family. It would be preferable to have a taped commentary that can be switched on at the appropriate place.

Doing what: Small-Group Coromandel Peninsula Day Trip from Auckland
The peninsula was beautiful but we booked this tour principally to dig in the sand and bathe in the hot water springs. It was very obvious that the driver did not want us to do this said his spade was still brand new. Surprise surprise we ran out of time. we did see the Cathedral rock but it was too strenuous for three of our bus load. I certainly only spent a few minutes down there before commencing the climb back up as I did not want to hold the others up. I feel strongly that these issues were not mentioned in your description. The bus driver was very polite but we did not want to hear either his life story or his singing. Very disappointing trip unlike the one the previous day to The bay of Islands where we had a fantastic driver who went out of his way to make sure everyone was catered for and told us many interesting facts about the area. Did not learn much on the Coramandel tour at all.

Doing what: Bay of Islands Day Tour from Auckland
The tour driver / guide, Erin made this trip for me. He was a terrific driver, four hours each way to Bay of Islands, and all the while he was able to fill us with interesting facts about New Zealand, in excellent English that could be understood by everyone, no matter where they were from. I was extremely grateful for that. Many of us wished we could have had more time at Russell, but the one hour tour of the community allowed us to see more than we would have if we had been left on our own to explore. There was so much to see, but the distance we traveled allowed only limited time wherever we stopped. Some people stopped to stay for a day or two. I especially enjoyed the view of the landscape on the long bus trip.

Doing what: Waitomo Caves and Rotorua Day Trip from Auckland
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We were picked up half an hour after our schedule time, but apart from that, the tour was great. Bus driver was informative, and all places we visited welcomed us and were professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending this tour at all.

Doing what: Auckland to Rotorua via Waitomo Glowworm Caves One-Way Tour
Very suitable tour. The cave is exceptional. I come from Bulgaria where we have all kind of caves, but this small one with this lights in the dark - great experience. This tour is nice because you can stay for a night in Roturua.

Doing what: Waitomo Caves and Rotorua Day Trip from Auckland
From the pick up from the hotel until the end of the day it was an excellent tour. The driver is very knowledgeable about the area. The highlight of the tour were the Waitomo caves, the Rotorua with the welcome presentation and the bubbling mud and eruption.
