Doing what: Small-Group Tour of Austin and Texas Hill Country
I learned a lot about Austin. Very thorough -- our tour operator answered many questions. I would like specific instructions for going up Mt Bonnell without walking. (I can't make the steps!) Tour guide said there's a winding road going up to the top. But we forgot to get her directions.

It was a great way to get familiar with the City and all that it has to offer. We always try to do when we get to a new city.

Doing what: Downtown Austin Segway Tour
We had a ball! The segway tour was a great thing to do with my two daughters during our "girls weekend" in Austin. Our guide was wonderful and shared interesting facts about our city. I've mentioned the tour to friends who are excited to take a tour...so I'll be back!

Not great, it was a overcast day so we could see the views of the hills and I had envisioned a little more than a quick drive by. The guide was okay but there were only 6 of us and he didn't even bother to ask where we were from or have us introduce ourselves. I would not recommend this tour - you are better off doing a walking or biking tour (skipping hill county -especially on a cloudy day).

Great way to see and learn about Austin in a short amount of time! I went on this tour on my first day in Austin and it gave me a really good overview of the city and I also learned a lot about the areas history, sights and interesting facts. My tour guide was fabulous and the van was comfortable, clean and spacious.
