Noosa, found on the Sunshine Coast just 85 miles (136 km) to the north of Brisbane, is known for its beautiful beaches, great surf and low key resorts. The Noosa region consists of Noosa Heads, Noosa Junction, Noosa Civic and Noosaville; but the Noosa Heads area contains the main resort section and beaches with notable waves. Just a hop and a skip away, visitors can explore the famous Fraser Island or escape to the lush hinterland.
