It's a short but wonderful trip. Anne, our guide, speaks fluent English and knows everything in Provence region. Just onething no one can control or even to predict----local weather. We were lucky since after a light rain in the morning, the sun shine was back that light up the afternoon tour.

Doing what: Provence Le Grand Tour
This tour was a highlight of our trip both because of the places we saw and the wealth of information and gracious care taken by our guide Julien. We visited fabulous towns and sites, and learned of history, food, wine, culture, family life, humor, music and saw more of Provence in one day than we would have in 3 on our own. We had adequate time at each place to explore on our own or together. it was a fantastic experience we will remember. And we came away with a list of suggestions for our remaining time around Avignon..

Great tour. Our guide was prompt in picking us up near our hotel (we were staying on a pedestrian only street). We had plenty of time in each of the cities visited and appreciated seeing the Pont Du Gard as the last stop. We had plenty of time to see it and there was not a crowd. We would definitely recommend taking this tour!

Doing what: Private Provence Tour: Avignon Wine Tour
Caroline (our tour guide) picked us up right on time. She provided excellent commentary on the beautiful countryside as we drove through on the way to our two winery stops. We had time for a couple brief stops along the way to look at scenery. She was very knowledgeable about the area and about the history of wine production in the region. She also spoke excellent English (and Italian. And Chinese.). She topped it off by finding the exact chocolate shop my wife visited 17 years ago. The Mercedes minibus was very comfortable and held the 8 of us nicely. If you like wine, this is the tour for you!

Our tour met our expectations and was a good value. Our guide was fun, knowledgeable and efficient. The wine tasting part was a bit too long (one hour) and boring, but nobody in our group was into wine, so that may have just been our group's problem. The tour guide for the winery was very good though.

Tour guide gave us very little information, it was mostly just for transportation. Should skip Lavender Museum and stop at the St. Remy hospital and city. Only made one stop in St. Remy to see a Roman arch. I was very disappointed in this day trip.

This tour was outstanding and I/we would do it again. Everything was very professional and our guide's English was impecable. We, on our own, did a similar tour in our car several days later.

The tour was fantastic. It was at times a little fast paced particularly at the Ampitheatre in Nimes however this was needed to be at Pont du Gard at sunset which was magical. Our guide was easygoing and very helpful with any question we asked. We loved it!

This was a wonderful tour of the Provence area. We were picked up at 8 AM and returned at 7 PM, so you definitely get your money's worth. We went in November when the tourism is minimal, so there was just one other couple from Asia in the mini van with us. This was the best day of our vacation!

This tour was the highlight of our vacation,I am not sure of the spelling of our tour guides name, so if i'm wrong I apoligize. But solen was a fantastic guide, Friendly, funny and very informative. She made the day a real joy. She must really enjoy her job to do it so well.We were picked up at our hotel on time, and made a very full day of it, returning in early evening. We have been on other tours and felt overcharged for what we saw. That was not the case with Viator.I would highly recommend using there service.I am sure we will go again in the next couple of years and will look into other tours offered. Thanks for a Great experience!

Doing what: Provence Le Grand Tour
This tour was an excellent choice for us as we had limited time in Avignon. Even if we had had a car we would not have been able to see so much ,and parking would have been a problem. Our guide was very helpful and knowledgable and we had enough time at each site. For us the high lights were the Pont du Garde and the Roman
theatre in Orange.
However, it was a long day and in Gordes we settled for a beer instead of a tour of the village.
