Amphitheater is closed on the day we visited thus quite disappointing. Pont du Gard is indeed impressive, however not enough time on spot to fully explore it....

Too rushed. Not enough time in each of the places. Would rather spend a bit more time in each with less coverage... almost running all way through... But the Les Baux and Arles are very beautiful - a not-to-miss for any Van Gogh fan, not necc with this tour though.

We were very disappointed in this trip. In Nimes we were given tickets to the Ampitheatre. We were told to be back at the bus in 75 minutes. We didn't even see Augustus' gate or the Castellum. We drove by Maison Carree without even slowing down. We sped through the ampitheatre so we could go see Maison Carre but it was a race to the finish. We were dropped off in Uzes without even a map. We didn't even know what we should go see as we didn't bring our travel books. We expected the guide to give us all of the info. We were too nervous we'd get lost to really explore as we only had 45 minutes. Pont du Gard was amazing but again we were just dropped off without even a brochure. The staircase to the second level had closed an hour before we got there which was disappointing. The advantage of this tour is you are driven to the Pont du Gard as it isn't the easiest place to get to via public transportation. This tour is basically just a driver with some commentary as you drive from place to place.

The tour was great! We had been traveling by trains, and it was nice to get to some smaller towns. I really enjoyed the free time in each location to do our own thing, and well as the information provided at each stop! It was a fantastic day!! We were able to see more in one day in if we had done it on our own!

Tour guide was professional, cheerful, engaging, and knowledgeable about the sites visited. The tour was conducted promptly (pick up and drop off, keeping to schedule). The size of the group was just right (8, including our party). I would highly recommend this tour and the guide, Virginie. We had a wonderful time.

Another exciting glimpse of Roman ingenuity and ageless buildings. Being able to walk around these historic sites and see at first hand such spectacular sites is just awesome. This was a great days' touring and is thoroughly recommended.

What a show stopper - the Roman cleverness at overcoming adversity is again on spectacular show. This is an excellent trip for those who are attached to special historic sites. Thoroughly recommended and good value for money.

Doing what: Provence Lavender Small Group Half-Day Trip
I did this trip on 5th June and had a superb time. Sadly the lavenders weren't in deep blossom, but still was lovely to visit provencial villages, lavender fields, lavender museum - highly recommend it if you'd like to feel real Provence. P.S. The driver was really nice and understanding, was nice to listen his stories.

Fabulous day at two wineries with very knowledgable and friendly people. I loved the small group size and convenience of being picked up from our hotel! Wine in Provence? What's not to love?

Fabulous tour. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but the lavender fields were gorgeous. The driver knew exactly where to go in random provencial fields. The trips to Roussillion and Gordes were amazing- something I wouldn't have done on my own...and would've regreted not doing!

Excellent guide, small group, highly recommended tour. Only criticism was that the wine tasting in Chateaubeuf du Pape was more of a lecture than a tasting, but some may have enjoyed that.
