The Sounds of Silence was an AMAZING experience. My fiance and I went to Australia for our Honeymoon and this is a must do!! The night started with Champagne, appetizers, and the sunset.T he sunset was beautiful over both Uluru and Kata Tjuta. The food at the buffet was great, we had a lot of champage and wine all included, and we had so many choices for food and dessert. The experience of eating out in the Outback was unreal! After dinner we listened to the digeridoo and stargazed. The stargazing was amazing. I have never seen such a wide open sky. The view was better than in a planetarium. I have never seen such a thing!! The actual sound of silence was beautiful and a little scary. You are out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nothing but desert and nature. A truely amazing experience!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Sounds of Silence. The company we were placed with were very friendly. The food was very good and the glasses were always full. The talk on the stars was very interesting and the service staff were very friendly. I can't think that there was any negatives on this experience, even the sand in the shoes was OK.

This was the best tour we took at Ayers Rock. The food was great, the servers were attentive and the star talker really knew his stuff - even though it was cloudy and there was only one star! The view of Ayers Rock from our dining spot was amazing.

Best dinner Experience I had. Everyone should do this in once Lifetime. It was my birthday, so it was fantastic to have a Star talk as well as the dinner UNDER the Stars. I will defenietly come again. By the way i am german , so the Landscape meant even more to me. Felt very moved by the Size and Presence of The ROCK.

I was disappointed to find no star gazing excursions available from the resort so pleased to see one included in the dinner. Food was great. Highly recommended.

The food was fabulous! There was no moon the night of our dinner and the stars were spectacular! The astronomer was very knowledgeable, witty and very Australian, I loved it! If I have a suggestion, move the fire further away from the tables. Our table was directly in the line of the smoke and all of us had streaming eyes and many were coughing. Overall an excellent experience, and I would definitely recommend to my friends.

The view of Ayers Rock from this vantage point was fantastic! The champagne and canapes were fabulous as we watched the sun go down on the rock. Short, easy walk to white tableclothed tables set beautifully and chatting with people in a relaxed atmosphere made the dinner experience very enjoyable. The buffet had wonderful varied courses of great food. Then the stars came out and were well pointed out and described. We will go again on our next visit to Ayers Rock, for sure. Wouldn't miss it.

It was a beautiful experience! I have waited 20 years to see The Rock and to enjoy the banquet while listening to the Sounds of Silence in our wonderful red desert, it was something I will always remember! Thank you for a grand experience.

We were in Australia for three weeks, and this was one of the the highlights of our trip! The ambiance was perfect for the experience. We were served champagne and hors d'oeuvres as the sun was setting over Kata Tjuta, the Olgas and Uluru, and didgeridoo music was played. The dinner consisted of Australian delicacies and was absolutely delicious. We were there in July, so we wore jackets for the cool evening. There were gas heaters which provided a lot of warmth. After dinner, an astronomer gave us an informative and entertaining tour of the southern night sky with the millions of stars and the planet Saturn. Telescopes were provided for those who wanted a closer look. If you have the chance to travel to Ayers Rock, do not miss this beautiful experience!

This is something completely different! Watching the sunset, then dinner under the stars, with good food and drink. Very enjoyable!

Enjoyed it, very well organised. If you want a great outdoor experience in Uluru, this is for you. Food was very good, too.

Fantastic time at the dinner. They bus you out to a location on some dirt road somewhere, then offload you to a very nice setting in the outback. You watch the sun set where you can see both Uluru and Kata Tuja, and they give you free drinks. They you have a nice dinner with an amazing sunset and good food and beer. The astronomy talk was also interesting and funny. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Leaving the bus, hearing the didgeridoo playing, and being handed a glass of champagne as we walked up to the site to see Uluru rising from the sand was wonderful, and it just kept getting better. It was a perfect evening.
