Anyone who spends the time and money to travel to Uluru and does not go to this dinner will have missed a truly wonderful experience. The service, the food, the social experience and most of all the emotional aspect of this dinner all combine to make it a delightful evening. Do not miss it!

This was probably the highlight of our trip to Australia !!!! - and the only and best way to experience the awesom grandure of this area and the size of Ayers Rock. Our pilot was GREAT -and very knowledgeable about the history of the area -which added immensely to the enjoyment of the Tour.

This is where I checked off "seeing the Southern Cross" from my bucket list! We had such an enjoyable evening and recommend that if you make it as far as Ayers Rock, then you absolutely must book the Sounds of Silence dinner. I am a bit picky with what I will eat so Kangaroo and Crocodile were avoided but there was plenty to drink and eat of all sorts; however, you do not attend this dinner for the food. Make plans to attend if you have a desire to see stars and a part of the universe you can not normally see if you live in the northern hemisphere or in any city where there is simply too much light. The astronomers were informative and we learned how to find land (sky)marks in the southern sky. There is a good telescope to see things up close once the lecture is over. On our remaining nights in Australia and New Zealand, we were able to find the stars, galaxies, and planets that we learned about at the dinner. This is a MUST DO on your visit to Ayers Rock.

What a great way to view Uluru and the Olgas. Schedule a sunrise helicopter ride- the shadows on the monoliths are incredible!!! (Be aware that you won't see the sacred side of Uluru because of agreements with the native people.)
Our pilot was friendly and knowledgable with door-to-door service to and from the hotel. A 30 minute flight is the perfect amount of time in the air- 15 minutes doesn't give you enough time and more than 30 would just be monotonous.

Fantastic, the only way to see Uluru and Kata Tjuta. You can really see that the whole area was covered in water at some time, and Uluru was standing up-right.
Pilot was great, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. A+++++

Staggeringly beautiful surroundings in which to dine! We will never forget this experience. Sunset over the Olgas was magic and Uluru was awesome, even in the distance. The meal itself was delicious; the hosts were great; service was great (my wine glass was never empty) and we LOVED it- thank you!

A briliant thing to do when visiting Uluru - our highlight. The Cameleers are friendly and funny, the camel ride gentle and relaxing and very picturesque at sunset, and the drinks and nibbles afterwards were excellent. Highly recommended - good value for money.

A highlight of our visit to Uluru...the two guides were really knowledgeable, the ride itself was really a magical experience and fabulous way to see the beautiful surrounds of Uluru...The drinks and snacks were also superb afterwards (including that special damper bread. I would recommend this over and above the "dinner under the stars" as the best way to experience the rock at sunset too!

The most breathtaking sunset of my life. Awe inspiring experience, great hospitality from the team. If you go to Uluru do not miss this experience. Due to clouds we saw no stars, but the stargazing experience was still made very entertaining by the stargazer

The camel sunset tour was the highlight of our trip to Uluru. The organisation was first class and the camels were so much fun. Rosco gave us a great insight into the outback and the other guides were friendly and ever so obliging. One of the best tours we have been on and one would will definitely recommend.
