Really good day. Our guide 'Mr Pon' was a legend - he knew absolutely loads of facts and was very funny. The trip to the summer palace was defintely worth it, very pretty. The site you stop at in Ayutthaya itself is just a load of ruins so don't get too excited but still worth having a look and getting some pics. If you want to see some of the more impressive sites in Ayutthaya then chose another tour. River cruise back to Bangkok was the highlight though, a nice way to chill out after a early start.
Very enjoyable and lovely view of Bangkok by night. We were on upper deck at front and caught the breeze. Buffet food was nice and there was a good choice and sufficient amounts. Band played soft background music which allowed for conversation and we were next to them! Staff were accommodating and helpful. Would recommend highly.
Ayuttaya temples were full of Thailand's history on which our guide was very knowledgeable. He was also amenable to taking photos of couples which was nice. Our lunch on the river cruise back to Bangkok was enjoyable - sitting with people from other countries is always a pleasant experience. Would strongly recommend this tour as we learnt much about Thailand's history - Ayutthaya was once the country's capital!
Great organisation all the way through. Food was fine and a great party-atmosphere on the boat. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Just wish it had been another hour longer. I would DEFINATELY recommend this trip to anyone visiting Bangkok!
This was one of the most unforgettable trip of my life! Very organized! Tour gide Paul, he's really accommodating and friendly! For the river cruise, great choice of foods! Highly recommended! Thumbs up!
Was a very good tour the only thing i could say we didnt like about it that there wasnt very much western food on the menu what was there was very nice.
Very disapointing. I have been on river cruises where the local scenes and history were explained. There was only OK food, and poor entertainment and no explaiantion of life on the river.
We were picked up on time from our hotel and taken to River City where we caught our cruise from. The setting was lovely and the food, service and entertainment whilst onboard was first class. Even my 2 sons were got up to dance by the waiting staff!! Really loved this magical evening cruising past the lit up temples of Bangkok. Would definitely recommend.
The dinner cruise was highly enjoyable, and the views of the flood-lit temples, river boats amd bridges were breathtaking. Two hours was just the right length of time, the food was excellent, and the music most memorable. A magical evening.. .
Tour was very good, but I have a complain regarding the turist guide: because at the end of visit of the Grand Palace he recused to take me back to my hotel without visiting the jelwery factory, so I got back to my hotel by my own.
Joe was absolutely awesome. It turned out to be a private tour as only two of us were there that day. Joe not only did the tour at our pace, answered all our questions very knowledgeably but also helped us find the right transportation for our next destination. Not to mention the great tips he gave to us about shopping in bangkok! the only sour point is the hotel where you are asked to assemble for the tour - its not easily approachable and the place looked pretty dirty!
