Doing what: Floating Markets of Damnoen Saduak Cruise Day Trip from Bangkok
I would highly recommend this trip. The floating market made our entire trip. We saw all the temples and things that Bangkok had to offer, but the floating market was by far our favourite. With a roughly 2 hour drive, and a quick stop at a coconut factory, it really doesn't seem too long. You are first put on a motor boat and rip around some different canals which leads you to the entrance of the floating market. There are definitely some cool things to see on this ride alone. Once you get to the market you purchase your ticket and hop on the boat. I believe the market is now more touristy as it was in the past, but don't let that dictate your decision. This is a must trip.
The tour guide was very knowledgable. He attempted to be funny and crack some jokes. He was very good at what he does.

Doing what: Floating Markets and Rose Garden Cultural Center Day Tour from Bangkok
The floating markets were amazing. Full of life and vibrant. The cultural center seemed a little "forced" and the show a little manufactured but I would certainly recommend visiting the floating markets

Excellent tour, great guide who spoke really good English. We were well looked after- perfect timing of arrival at markets, getting on rowing boat, long tail pick up, lunch at markets. Trip to wood carving was good, it was a great day, highly recommended. Thank you!

Doing what: Floating Markets and Rose Garden Cultural Center Day Tour from Bangkok
The floating market was one of the best experience of our 5 day trip in Bangkok. The pick up in early morning was prompt and the guide was fluent in English and quite amiable. The Thai cultural center is also a very entertaining spot geared toward tourists (no rose garden though).

Doing what: Floating Markets of Damnoen Saduak Cruise Day Trip from Bangkok
We stayed in a private residence and the tour company was very gracious to accommodate and pick us up, that was so appreciated and helpful. It took awhile to reach the floating markets, but it was well worth the drive. It is very unique and special. It is also a nice escape from the city. I loved it

Doing what: Floating Markets of Damnoen Saduak Cruise Day Trip from Bangkok
Floating Market is the place to see in Bangkok. The tour guide was very good and she tried to give us a general idea of Tailand and Bangkok throughout the tour. We arrived at the market early which was very good because we enjoyed the market before most the visitors arrived. It was a very good tour with no problems.

This was a surprisingly exciting activity. I was expecting something different, but this was just amazing. The smells, colors, life and uniqueness of this floating market make it something all travelers in Thailand MUST do. 5* on this one!

I was alone and a bit worried about the pick up etc. What a great experience. Picked up at my hotel on time. Met interesting people on the hour ride to the market and what an experience it was. The guide was A-1, so knowledgeable and interesting. Her English was clear and she was a delight.

Doing what: Floating Markets of Damnoen Saduak Cruise Day Trip from Bangkok
We were collected from the hotel by a very friendly and informative guide called Pam. She also included a trip to a coconut farm and an elephant sanctuary, which were very interesting. The floating market is an experience not to missed if you are going to Bangkok. Would highly recommend this trip, it was awesome.

Doing what: Floating Markets of Damnoen Saduak Cruise Day Trip from Bangkok
Our guide Peter was very funny and informative throughout the trip. My friend and I had an absolute blast. The trip started with a stop at a coconut farm where they made all sorts of products from coconuts. Afterwards, we headed to the floating markets via long-tailed speed boats. Once we arrived, we paid 200B each person to take the private paddle boats (I definitely recommend taking this paddle boat ride as it navigates you around where the long-tailed boats can't go). This is where we had breakfast round 2 buying food from pretty much any boat passing by that had food on it. We didn't pay much attention to the souvenirs as they're over priced as people have stated and we had already done our souvenir shopping previously at Chatuchak market.
Next on the itinerary was a trip to the teak farm, but we asked if we could go to the Cobra show that was advertised throughout the market instead. Peter was very helpful in arranging for us to go to the Cobra show instead. As a little girl in our group stated, "Wood? I don't want to go see wood, let's go to the snake show". Although the teak farm might have had more of a cultural value to it, I feel like the Cobra show was worth the change in schedule. Afterwards, we were dropped off at our respective hotels.
Overall, for the price of this tour, I would definitely recommend it. At first we had a group of 4 and planned on booking a taxi to go ourselves, but I'm glad we chose to take the tour instead because it allowed us to not have to worry about the logistics of the trip.
