It was a nice journey, and the experience of the Floating Market was worth doing it. The stops before and after the market were touristic and not necessary.

Excellent tour! Floating markets and cultural center were both worth it!

The floating market was one of the best experience of our 5 day trip in Bangkok. The pick up in early morning was prompt and the guide was fluent in English and quite amiable. The Thai cultural center is also a very entertaining spot geared toward tourists (no rose garden though).

Very nice, although the market was a bit congested. Big traffic of gondolas in the canal. The coconut factory stop was nothing to write home about. Overall bell good.

Well organized but too less time to stay and enjoy the floating market.

Very interesting tour to the floating markets. Also the villages and landscape through which the way goes is interesting.

Too crowdy. Many hours lost for just a market

Very disappointing. The floating market in Damnoen is all about selling tourist trinkets to tourists. Period. This market is dead. It takes 90 minutes to get there, 90 minutes back. That time could be better spend just going to the floating market in Bangkok and then moving on.

Very good organized tour. The guide Niko was professional,
knowledgeable and very pleasant man. He shared a personal information
about his life and his approach to the modern world which made the
tour more special. The floating market was an unique and unforgettable
experience.

We stayed in a private residence and the tour company was very gracious to accommodate and pick us up, that was so appreciated and helpful. It took awhile to reach the floating markets, but it was well worth the drive. It is very unique and special. It is also a nice escape from the city. I loved it

Doing what: Floating Markets of Damnoen Saduak Cruise Day Trip from Bangkok

Excellent tour and the guide (Niko - or 'Handsome' if you forgot his name) was fantastic, very friendly and informative. The market itself is very tourist orientated, so be prepared! but it's an experience that you wont easily forget. Booking online with Viator was a breeze and made our journey that much easier, many thanks

Was a half day trip. These markets are set up to allow tourists to see how things were, they are not the original markets as you would see if you have visited the Mekong Delta in Vietnam. Very busy with many tourists and lots of touristy things to buy. Overall a good day and good value for money. A long journey to and from though so be prepared to spend alot of time in a car/van.

Floating market was interesting but why did they drive us to a jewelry store for an hour at the end? It wasn't on the itinerary for the trip, and felt like they were forcing us to look at product we didn't want to buy because they were on some big commission. Several people in our group felt duped.

We were picked up on time by the company. However along the way, we didn't get much history or travel information by the guide. When we got there, we took a long tail boat to the floating market. The guide did not join us on the boat. We paid extra to get on the canoes in the floating market. Again, the guide did not join us. It seemed more of a transportation service than a tour guided package. I think there may be a separate, guided package. Basically if you're looking for a private, hassle free transportation to the market, this will do. However, if you are looking for a guided tour, you may be disappointed. Guide and driver were very friendly and professional nonetheless.

Trips organised by hotels start too late as having visited the floating markets before with private driver the earlier you arrive the more you see. By the time the coaches get there and you spend time going around the other canals just to see the homes many of the boats laden with fruit and food have already been and gone.
