Doing what: Thailand's Ayutthaya Temples and River Cruise from Bangkok
On our tour, we did the temples in the morning and river cruise in the afternoon. We saw an assortment of temples/sights in Ayutthaya, ranging from mediocre to pretty cool. The boat trip was completely underwhelming until the very end (when you get into the city), but was better than driving two hours in the van back to Bangkok. In my honest opinion, lunch on the boat was horrible - but the food shouldn't be the reason you decide for/against a tour. Overall, the tour is still worth doing if you are looking to get out of the big city for a day.

Doing what: Khao Yai National Park and Elephant Ride Day Trip from Bangkok
Great tour! Well organized. NOT ENOUGH FOOD FOR LUNCH.....we ran out and some did not get any.....they did not replentish....we were starving!! No bottled water in van as well which should be complimentaty due to the extreme heat. Would rate 4 or 5 stars if sufficient food provided!!

Doing what: Khao Yai National Park and Elephant Ride Day Trip from Bangkok
This tour was 50/50. The great parts were walking around the market, the waterfall walk and the elephant ride. The oxen ride was pointless - we went out about 200 meters, turned around, and got back on the van; total of 20 minutes. There were 2 gas station stops and a random stop at a tourist trap. Lunch was awful, and that is the only time drinks or food are provided. The tour guide was nice but did not speak English very well and was more of a companion. If they cut out the unnecessary parts and had a better guide, this tour would be great. The waterfall is through the jungle along a cement path and down a lot of stairs. The elephant ride was the highlight and one of my husband's favorite parts of our entire Thailand trip. Driving through Khao Yai we saw a bunch of animals and took a picture with a monkey. You just have to suffer through the rest to get to the good parts.

Doing what: Khao Yai National Park and Elephant Ride Day Trip from Bangkok
The tour guide, while very pleasant, was very soft spoken and sitting halfway back on the bus could not hear him. I would have liked to see more of the natural wild life. Overall boring tour.
Also one of my party was not able to attend and informed over 24 hours before we were to leave that he could not attend but I did not get a refund. You were able to take the money for the third person I added the day before.

Doing what: Khao Yai National Park and Elephant Ride Day Trip from Bangkok
I loved this tour. When we booked our trip to Thailand we knew we had to ride an elephant and based off of prior reviews, we booked with this tour. No regrets! The air conditioned vehicle was comfortable; we met new people; our tour guide and driver were both extremely knowledgable and personable; the jaunt through the market was quick but informative; the ox cart rides were slightly uncomfortable but were a very nice getaway from the pollution and crowded areas of downtown Bangkok; the lunch provided was both delicious and authentic, while still being "western" enough to not scare anyone on the tour; the elephants were magnificent and the trainers seemed to genuinely care for them, not just use them as a way to make money. The sights were breaktaking, the food was awesome, and the memories will stay with us forever. This trip is highly recommmended! Make sure you wear some sort of long pants or have really hairy and resilient legs or those elephants will leave your legs itchy. Take a bottle of water with you for the walk to the waterfall, and some proper shoes, as the steps are very steep and it's a HOT 1km walk. If you can, ask for Gary to be your tour guide. He had a pretty impressive grasp of the English language and I think he found his own jokes just as funny as we did. Bring a camera!

Doing what: Bangkok's Grand Palace Complex and Wat Phra Kaew Tour
We had plenty of time to explore this large complex and appreciate the history of the buildings. The guide was particularly helpful with the history and current politics, giving a clear perspective to the visit, and avoiding the inevitable queues. A must for every visitor to Bangkok.

Doing what: Thai Burma Death Railway Bridge on the River Kwai Tour from Bangkok
The trip was every bit as exciting as expected and more. Upon arrival at my hotel, I was given as message from you confirming the time the next day for picking me up. We had a great tour guide who was right on time. Myself and six British people were in a very comfortable van. We made stops along the way and saw the cemetery and a museum and things I didn't realize were included. Seeing the bridge from a long tail boat was exciting to me. We also had time to shop before the train ride. What a fantastic ride we had with outstanding scenery. The food we had before finishing our journey was spectacular. I couldn't have had a better day.
