We had a super day the bus was comfortable the driver and the guide T were fantastic ,pity about the traffic back to Bangkok but it was Friday tea time and that is out of your control so thank you for a day that will stay with us forever.
Decided to take up this tour since I've read that going to this place could be quite a hassle. I didn't regret my decision at all. Here's why:
1) Land journey from my hotel (Glow Pratunam) to this place is quite a distance. It took slightly more than an hour to reach to the destination.
2) Guide was very knowledgeable, speaks good English, answers your questions with a smile.
3) The mini bus was decent and comfortable.
4) HERE'S THE TRICKY PART: Boat ride TO the floating market was included in the pricing. I've read that a lot of tourists get scammed at this point if you don't take up a tour. (However, do note that boat ride pricing AT the floating market, you must pay on site. It's not included in the package).
The day before the tour, a travel agency left a note to my hotel reception stating the details of the meetup. On the morning itself, we were supposed to meet the tour guide at 6.20am in the lobby area, but we woke up late and met them at 6.45am instead. This made the tour guide unhappy, we can see it from her face (so please don't have a late night before your trip like we did!).
After they picked us up, the minibus we're in collected the rest of the tourists from different hotels. Once everyone is in, we headed to the floating market with one short pit stop/toilet break at a location where some souvenirs were being sold. Throughout the journey, the guide did a commentary on the prominent locations/monuments from time to time as we went along.
Once we reached the destination, we took a boat to the floating market, through some narrow river (or maybe canal?). The scenary was quite pretty as you pass by the houses and temples. At the floating market itself, you need to take another small boat where a peddler will peddle your boat around to the shops you wanna go.

- whatever you do, BARGAIN! I got 90% off!!
- after that, we went to elephant village (can ride, take pic, feed)
- sent back to hotel
Well organized and pleasant, and worth the early morning departure. The guide was excellent, and made sure that everything was taken care of at all times. The tour packed a lot into the day, but it never felt rushed. The only complaint was the traffic returning in the evening, but that is beyond anybody's control. I do appreciate that the guide told us that it would save an hour to just take the Skytrain back to our hotel, rather than waiting an extra hour in the van. All told, well worth the time and money.
It was a pleasant day trip. The tour guide was knowledgeable and took very good care of us.
What's not to love about a 45 minute elephant ride, a trip to a local market and an ox cart ride? The tour was great notwithstanding one of the guests slipped and broke his arm, literally. The guide and driver were fantastic and made sure everything could be done was done. Highly recommend it.
This was a very exciting trip. Our tour guide picked us up really early in the morning in a van and we headed out to the Khao Yai National Park. We also stopped by for a quick breakfast on the way there. His English was very good. The Ox ride was ok, but what more can you expect from an Ox ride. The rice fields around the Ox ride were quite beautiful and as we slowly rode by, they were a nice backdrop. The entire waterfall experience was amazing! They even provided us with cloths to put over our feet and tie a little above our knees, so that leeches wouldn't get into our shoes. On our way to the Elephant Ride, we actually saw wild elephants in the forest and of course, all cars had pulled over to take a photo of the elephants. We also saw a snake, dears and monkeys on our way to the Elephant Ride. Last but not least, the Elephant Ride was awesome. It was much better than I expected plus we were able to not only go through the thick forest but also though a river.
We had previously scheduled to go to a cabaret show in the evening, so pretty much as soon as we arrived at the hotel, we had to leave for the cabaret show. But the tour guide was kind enough to let us go up and quickly change. We then had to go pick up 2 more people and then go to the cabaret show. Just be careful about booking something in the evening as you may not have enough time to make it to both.
Great tour great sights. Highly recommended .
The best Tour EVER!!!
A very educational and amazing tour! Startled by the architectural design specially the glittering glass gem stones and gold trimmings,
Highly recommended, it was a refreshing tour, full of surprises and delightful sceneries. Was amazed by the hugeness of the elephants, enjoyed the ride!
A lively cruise, the buffet table is full of luscious and delicious asian and western foods. So much spectacular and impressive views along the cruise, the Grand Palace is awed by its majestic lighting effects.Amazingly unforgetable experience.
Doing what: Bangkok Dinner Cruise on the Chao Phraya River
Everything about this tour was excellent.

Best tour we went on during our stay in Thailand. Everything was great. The food was especially delicious. Was great to see the boys making some food. Our guide Peter was AMAZING! So funny and full of info. Couldn't ask for a better tour. Oils recommend to anyone!
Absolutely beautiful! The Summer Palace is a true photo opportunity, and the visit to the ancient capital of Siam was well-worth every minute. We had an opportunity to see the outdoor reclining Buddha. The buffet meal served on the cruise back to Bangkok exceeded our expectations.
The weather all day was WET, but this was the highlight of the trip for me. Our rest stop on the way had "Turkish" toilets so be prepared! We had time to photograph and walk across the Bridge. The museum is small, but interesting. From there to the train, we took what someone called a "James Bond" boat, with floor seating. The train was very late in arriving, and we were soaked. Our guide did not do a good job of telling everyone what was happening with the train. Also we had to pay extra to go on what our guide called a "tourist class" car. But the scenery along the train route is awesome, and the buffet meal served afterwards was excellent. Of course, the main impact of the trip is the historical insight offered into this WW II era.
