A very educational and amazing tour! Startled by the architectural design specially the glittering glass gem stones and gold trimmings,
I highly recommend this private tour of some of the most beautiful and unique sites in Bangkok. My guide and driver took great care of me and gave me the flexibility to spend as much time as I wanted in certain places. It was an informative and fun afternoon!
Excellent! A must tour for any trip to Bangkok
The cruise is very nice and the temple and palace are very interesting to see. However the last stop at the jewel store was pure waste of time and delayed stupidely our afternoon program
Very informative guide, good selection of temple
The trip would of been awesome, if we weren't constantly treated as money bags: on the canal we had "unscheduled stop" for some lady trying to sell us things, noone cared about. Then after visiting Grand Palace we were taken to Gem factory, where sales person was trying to sell us very expensive jewelry and if that wasn't enough, after that we were supposed to go to tailor factory, where I am sure they would of try to sell us suits and so on. My recommendation: once you visit Grand Palace opt out of going to gem factory. Waste of our time!!!
Very friendly, interesting tour guide, but short and we ended up in a jewellery store! Would rather have seen more of bangkok.
Very good tour and the guide Ten was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were a small enough group (9) so it was easy to visit many parts of the monasteries and had ample time to visit and take pictures in the 3 temples across town.
You also get free transport on the return and can either go back to your hotel or they can drop you in town (Siam square was very popular).
It was almost a private tour - 4people and the guide. We were among the very first to enter the grand palace so it was perfect to take the time to look into details and take nice and tourist-free pictures. We went through every building open to the public and we also got to see the guards.
The guide was very nice and knowledgeable and quick to make a joke.
Ayutthaya was really cool with its ancient temples and ruins. I was very glad we went out there, a highlight of the whole trip.
It reminded me of a trip in Mexico of walking around Mayan ruins, but not as high and with a lot of headless Buddhas. (They have mostly fallen off due to damage. One head is enrapped in the roots of a tree, that was my favorite thing to see, SO neat and the thing I was looking forward to seeing the most.) The Summer Palace on the way was a nice place to roam around and check out. The boat cruise back: the food was standard buffet, and the ride itself felt a little long but it was a pleasant change of pace from the bus. And no traffic. :-)
Superb tour, great being on the water and the palace is incredible. The tour guide then helped us onto a bus for the markets, great morning
A lot gets packed in to a day Tour here. The guide very extremely informative and entertaining.
It was a nice tour, the pick-up time is a bit early (1h before the tour officially starts). Ayutthaya didn't seem that far from bkk by bus and we visited 3 temples as well as the summer residence of the king and queen. Some temples were very nice but as this was a larger group (compared to the bkk temple tours) you had less time to visit and enjoy the scenery. The way back was by boat and the food was varied and quite good. You get free water and coffee/tea but have to pay if you want other types of drinks.
You get free transportation to your hotel by minivan but you can be dropped in town but make sure u tell your guide ahead as it's quite busy in the cruise terminal.
Interesting places. Lunch was good on the river.
