Get this if you're going to be in Barcelona 3 or more days. Otherwise buy individual venues.

What I liked about my trip to Barcelona:
- Very good public transportation system. The 5-day Barcelona Card was a real pleasure to have and to use.
- Barcelona is a rather clean city.
- There's lots to see.
- Not too much beggars etc., which makes you feel quite safe.
- I had a good hotel for a fair price. It was very close to the Monumental metro station, so getting to the old city centre was really easy.
- And I was really lucky with the weather, which made my trip really nice !
- And the food and drinks were really nice as well, and really not expensive.
So, you see, I have every reason for my "Highly Recommended" rating !

Helpful for metro, but I think we broke even in sightseeing even with discounts.

Had used the Paris Pass previously and expected the same kind of deals. Didn't look closely enough at the Barcelona card. The attractions that were 'free' with the card were only free at certain times. Main attractions were not included, and Hop on Hop off bus was not included. We ended up getting far less value from this than we paid, whereas the Paris Pass, which we purchased for only two days was far more beneficial.

This card made things much easier, you pick it up with your viator voucher right in the airport after baggage claim. Then it's ready for use, I didn't use it for the metro as much as for the museums, we ended up walking a lot. The great thing is in most museums when they see you waiting in the ticket line holding the card, they take you in right away and you get to skip the line, which comes in handy!

Loved my trip to Barcelona, fabulous city so much to see and do. Liked the transport free use. I did think that you could of added some or a Gaudi freebie as entrance frees were so high to all Gaudi buildings. I dont think i got back what i paid, and i made an effort to use the card to the max by waking early, and as an artist saturating myself in art throughout the days and early evenings. It was my second trip so had done some of the galleries that had free entries to.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better Review by Michael H, March 2013

This tour would have been better with younger participants - we did use the metro and the airport train but it would have been cheaper for us to pay for the journeys separately , you would have to be very fit to use the value of these tickets. the discounts did not seem to work and these were also a waste of money!

Excellent!

We purchased a 3 day Barcelona card and found it very useful, we were able to hop on and off the metro for the whole time we were in the city. Also very good for the train to and from the airport terminal. We were less than an hours train ride from the Hotel to the Airport.

found all the information handy, only thing is make *important information larger print as without glasses it is hard to read, ie the Picasso voucher is only usable after 5pm. Other than that Barcelona is wonderful and we will go back there again

The only downside of the guide book is that although it gives the metro line and station along with the bus numbers to get to the tourist destination, it does not give the address, therefore most times we were left outside the relevant metro station asking for directions to the tourist destination.

Loved Barcelona and would love to go there again.
Used 2 day Barcelona Card to get from airport to hotel using train and metro.
Also used local buses to get around quickly.
Unable to use free museum entry on Monday as most museums closed.
Able to use card to get from hotel to port for cruise.
