Hop off the blue route bus at Park Guell and walk up the hill (it's steep and very tiring on a hot day but worth the effort!) for some amusing Gaudi architecture and fabulous views over the whole city.

The red route
The port is almost a city unto itself. This is a view from on the pier that was moving while everyone was on it in order to let a ship pass. As you stroll along the pier's promenade you'll see clever sculptures floating in the water. You will also find a mega shopping center if you're longing for the malls back home.
In the L'Eixample neighborhood, the last work of Antoni Gaudi and the continuing legacy master craftsmen and women carry on. You'll learn about the living accommodations of the men, women and their families who keep the vision alive. There are audio and guided tours.
