Five Stars! Even if you are not a Salvador Dali fan, you will be after this excursion. The Dali museum and house are fascinating. The scenery in Figueres and Cadaques is spectacular. But what made the trip worth it was our tour guide. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, spoke great English, and went above and beyond. I highly recommend this tour, it was the highlight of our trip to Barcelona.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Dali Museum, Figueres, Cadaques and Cape de Crues. Our guide gave us a perfect Dali experience, he was so knowledgeable with all things Dali and he really made our day special. We shared lots of laughs and stories and didn't really want the day to end.

Thanks to Andrew, our guide. The tour to the dali museum etc. was most memorable.

The overall day trip was okay, however, we were picked up in an older bus and in the beginning of the trip the bus driver drove fast. The local guide in Girona was good and the Dali Museum was worth seeing.

Excellent tour, we thoroughly enjoyed the informative guide and the walking tour of Girona with local guide was very interesting followd by the tour of Salvador Dali museum in Figueres which was fabulous. We felt it was a good mix with free time to also enjoy each place. Thanks for a wonderful day.

The tour group was too large, about 40-50 individuals, not lending itself to personal attention. The guide seemed to be speaking like a record, with a memorized speech and no personal anecdotes. The stop in Girona included a tour in which we were heralded from one stop to another, and told that if we wanted to explore more we must come back during our free time - so lent itself to very little information other than this is this and that is that. The Dali museum in Figueres rightly did not included a guided portion. However, it made me realize that I should have simply taken a train myself from Barcelona to Figueres to see the Dali museum on my own instead of paying the big bucks for this guided tour package.

This is a great day trip to take if your in Barcelona! A wonderful and fun way to experience the works and history of Salvador Dali.

Meeting up in Placa Catalunya needs improvement. Many other tours meet at the same place and it can cause confusion to start out. But once we were on our way to Figueres it was pretty much a very smooth and lovely day trip. The Dali Museum was fantastic! Really enjoyed the visit However, we arrived around 11am on a Tuesday, which seemed to be when many tour groups go. The museum was annoyingly crowded with people I feel were not familiar with visiting museums. The crowds were the only thing I didnt care for. Do make time to also see the Dali Jewels. Well worth the effort and the tour includes that separate admission.
Our tour took us to Poble for the Dali Castel afterwards. I really liked this visit!! Its less crowded, more intimate, lovely and impressive. You really get a sense of Dali's devotion to Gala, and a peak into what I think was a more natural normal side to their lives in this home.
Lunch is not included, but our guide took us to a very nice Catalan restaurant by the Castle that served one of the best meals we had on our entire trip to Barcelona!
My only complaint was that the tour didnt clarify that we'd be stopping by a beach this day. To cap off the day we spent a little time in an absolutely gorgeous little local beach in Palamos on the Costa Brava!. I so wish I brought at least flip flops and something to sit out on the sand on.
This is a great day trip! A must do!

The tour was excellent. The tour bus guide spoke both English and Spanish. The tour provided a tour book so you received a street layout of both cities. The first stop was Girona and the group was broken into 2 groups, English and Spanish which meant you didn't have to wait for the repeat of information for the other language group. We went on a walking tour of the city which was not rushed and there was ample free time after the tour to explore and go back to anything you may have wanted to look at closer and still have time for a nice short lunch. We then moved on to Figueres and the Dali Museum. There was ample time to go through the Dali museum. We do not to go and explore the city around the museum but there was time if you wanted to do that. The tour guide on the bus was very knowledgeable and asked every person if they had any questions before each stop and was very clear about the times to meet back up at the bus. It was well worth the money. And Dali was a crazy man!!!!!

We were quite disappointed in the Girona tour. We were rushed through the streets and did not have access to any sights in this tour. when asked about the rich Jewish heritage in this area the guide did not have the knowledge to speak about on the topic. This was disappointing to many on the tour with us. The stop at the Dali museum was very nice and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon at the museum. I would recomment the Dali trip to Figueres but the Girona trip was really a waste of time.

Overall, the trip was great. Girona was beautiful. The Dali Museum in Figueres was very interesting as well. However, my only complaint was that there was not enough time to spend in Girona (we were rushed) and there was way too much time spent at the Dali Museum. Most of the group was done and ready to leave the Dali Museum way before we had to meet the bus. I would have loved more time to sightsee in Girona.

I was not fascinated with Girona, but Dali Museum was wonderfull.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Girona and to the Dali Musuem in Figueres. In Girona, we had a lovely walking tour of the old walled city and then we had almost a hour of explanation of the Jewish hisotry of Girona during the pre-1492 era. Our guide Anna was quite interesting and very knowledgeable. Our bus guide Carlos was very informative as well. The Dali museum was fascinating- quite the surreal experience. It was a highlight of our trip to Spain and I would definitely recopmmend it.

Both cities were worth going to and Girona deserved more time. On our trip day we had two lucky occurrences: in Girona they were having their flower festival and in Figueres they had a "dance of the giants" parade in the afternoon. The Dali museum was amazing.

Girona is a wonderful place to visit. Our guide led us places we never would have found on our own. The Dali Museum is definately worth seeing. One of the most unusual buildings houses a wonderful collection.

Guides (on bus and locations) were great. Tour size did not bother us as everyone splits up during the free time period. Girona was a charming small town. Just enough time to walk around. Perhaps a little more time would have been nice - like an extra 30 minutes. Figueres was nuts - as we got there in the afternoon and it was loaded with people to see the Dali Museum. It was tiring to work your way through the masses. We opted an extra $5 Euros for a private guide to walk us through the museum and I think that is a must. Otherwise you just get lost in the helter skelter craziness of working your way through the crowds and having no idea of the significance of any of Dali's art work. Getting in was no wait because we had the guide - the area was just crowded. If I go again, I would go in the morning as I would hope the crowds would be lesser. We were there in mid-July on a weekday. But we still really enjoyed the trip and also had time to walk around the immediate area and buy gifts and spend time in the museum gift shop as well. Maybe an extra 30 minutes here would help if you wanted to see more than just the museum.
