Very enjoyable and informative. Marc the tour guide gave information in English, Spanish and French. He really did a very good job with it. I can attest to it since I speak all three. The artistic afternoon portion of the trip was great. A must for every person visiting Barcelona. Did not include inside visit to La Sagrada Familia. We returned the next morning and waited only 30 minutes to buy tickets and go inside. Beautiful!!!
Tour guide spoke mostly Spanish and French, so difficult to fully understand what she said. Was disappointed in overall tour because we spent most of the time in replica of architecture in Spain that was built for Olympics several years ago. Lunch at local restaurant was delicious however!
I was able to take a walking tour the next day and was able to see the cathedral inside and the city from its roof.
Barcelona is a beautiful city and would have liked to see more of its architectural beauty up close.
A very enjoyable day. The only downside was the transport. We were squashed into a vehicle smaller than a minibus which was most uncomfortable for the distance travelled.
The guides were good, but these two tours (morning and afternoon) should be done separately. The four hours in the middle really were a waste of time, stuck in a tourist "village."
Both the guide for the morning and the afternoon were excellent and flexible in the tour organization.
Content of tour very good. However, 9 hour day was in fact longer with a 4 hour break at a "Spanish Village" which included a 1 hour lunch break then 3 hours to kill while waiting for afternoon tour.
Great tour, had very short time in the city and this tour offered a great deal of sightseeing and exploring Barcelona.
It was the best way to explore the city with time restriction. I only stayed in Barcelona for 3 days. It was the best way to orientate myself and understand the history, background and everything really of the city. Tour guide was really knowledgeable, she tried really hard to give all the information she could give to us. Tour was a little big disorganised, They merged couple of tour groups together due to numbers of each group. It was fine and nothing special happened. I paid extra 1 Euro to include the cable car service. It was good at the end. All in all it was a great day tour and I am glad I did it.
although the places visited are wonderful, the tour guides have done this too many times, and simply sound like a tape recorder, very monotonous. we combined a morning tour and an afternoon tour, and visited some of the same places in both. a bit disappointed that it wasn't made clear that we did not go into the Sagrada Familia. but generally a good tour
On the morning we were booked for the Barcelona tour I was informed it had been cancelled that day due to lack of participants. The sub-contractor was very kindly allowed us to "swap" this tour for a pair of half day tours that were going out that day. Good enough. We enjoyed the alternate tours, maybe more that we would have enjoyed or original choice. One thing, the original one day tour was lunch included but the two half day tours were not. We were "out" our lunch for that day.
An enjoyable day. Slightly frustrating that the tour was a mixed language group - so the narrative was in French, Spanish, Italian as well as Engish. Presumably therefore some narrative details were missed.
Interesting mixture of sights, but personally I didn't appreciate the amount of time 'wasted' at the Spanish Village.
It was also a shame that there was so much maintenance work at Park Guell - maybe it's the type of information that you should consider adding to all your tour details.
Our group enjoyed the combined day tour. With only 2 days to spend in Barcelona, this tour provided lots of sightseeing, including the Gaudi highlights! Would recommend!
