Great and very informative tour. Sagrada Familia is amazing both inside and out and is not to be missed. We only did the 1/2 day tour, so as a note, the picture associated with this tour (with the colorful wall), you do not see on the 1/2 day tour. You would have to take the full day tour to see it all. But, the 1/2 day tour covers a vast amount of Barcelona, so you will not be disappointed.
This was a very full walking tour of the old/gothic part of the city. Each of the 3 tapas places were all very different serving different types of tapas. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a passion about the city.
Alex was a charming and informative guide. He gave us an overview of both the City of Barcelona's history and culture, but he also gave flavor to the neighborhoods and brought them to life. And the convenience of not having a line at the Sagrada Familia and his knowledgeable discussion of the various facades was exciting.
We booked this tour during the Barcelona marathon, that we were unaware of. This left us stuck in one location longer than expected due to road closures. So the 45 minutes to one hour we were supposed to have at Sagrada Familia was only 15 minutes. This was quite disappointing. And the rest of the tour group was not sensitive to the fact that we were traveling together as honeymooners and wanted to rearrange bus seating so we would be split up. This is when my husband took matters into his own hands and we left the tour. We did the hop-on-hop off bus tour... it was cheaper and we could do whatever we wanted. Much better!!
Very enjoyable and informative. Marc the tour guide gave information in English, Spanish and French. He really did a very good job with it. I can attest to it since I speak all three. The artistic afternoon portion of the trip was great. A must for every person visiting Barcelona. Did not include inside visit to La Sagrada Familia. We returned the next morning and waited only 30 minutes to buy tickets and go inside. Beautiful!!!
For the first time in 3 years and almost a dozen viator tours i was very disappointed. My flight was late and i was unable to make our appointment; i was directed to contact the supplier and request to move my reservation to another date. I called several times and never got a reply so i did not get to take the tour.
Nico was the best guide! The city, the architecture, the food, the culture were all part of the tour! Our group was so much fun and this was the perfect introduction to Barcelona. The food choices were fabulous - we were all stuffed by the end of the night! My sister and I only had one day in Barcelona and Nico made it a memorable evening with the group.
good tour-needed little more time to see areas of cathedral. Whened ended tour only had time to cross to opposite side to get bus.
