This tour has everything. From the top of Barcelona to down in the beautiful market where we stopped for a glass of cava/wine and tapas. Alex was awesome! He is full of information and knowledge about the city. The Sagrada Familia was wonderful. The tour allowed us to go inside and it was ample time to see the interior and enjoy the achitecture. In the afternoon I was the only person on this part of the tour and Alex continued with enthusiasm to share his knowlege about Parc Guell and La Pedrera. One of my favorite tours of the trip1

I am giving this tour only a 2 star rating because
we feel that we were definitely shortchanged.
The description of the tour stated that we would stop by Hospital de Sant Pau and there would be guided visits to La Sagrada, Park Guell and La Pedrera (we paid for the whole day tour option). Our guide, Nico, was very personable and knowledgeable. He, however, never took us to the Hospital de Sant Pau, and as far as the other 3 aforementioned places, we got our "guided visits" outside the sites. He basically gave us info about the areas outside (in one place, i was almost pick-pocketed were it not for my companion noticing a man opening my bag!)
then gave us the tickets and we were on our own inside! We never did get any of the cava and cheese/olives that's also part of the package and since the guide bade us goodbye after dropping us off in La Pedrera, we also did not get the free bottle of Spanish cava that we were supposed to get in their office as a bonus at the end of the tour .

Doing what: Barcelona in One Day Sightseeing Tour

An enjoyable day. Slightly frustrating that the tour was a mixed language group - so the narrative was in French, Spanish, Italian as well as Engish. Presumably therefore some narrative details were missed.
Interesting mixture of sights, but personally I didn't appreciate the amount of time 'wasted' at the Spanish Village.
It was also a shame that there was so much maintenance work at Park Guell - maybe it's the type of information that you should consider adding to all your tour details.

Doing what: Artistic Barcelona Afternoon Tour

Our tour guide, Agnes, was a fountof information on the history of Barcelona and the beautiful buildings we were seeing. Unfortunatley we couldn't go into La Sagrada because it was Sunday but the Parc Guell is
very interesting.

Doing what: Artistic Barcelona Afternoon Tour

The tour was average. We had a large group - an entire busload. It was difficult to hear and to understand our tour guide. The visit to Sagrada Familia was to the outside only. Visit to Parc Guell was more enjoyable; we had time to wander and explore on our own.

Doing what: Barcelona in One Day Sightseeing Tour

Superb tour of the city! In AM and early afternoon, I went all over the city. In the mid-afternoon, I got a chance to look at Gaudi's works, especially Park Guell. The morning guide, Agnes was great. The afternoon guide was also very good, even though my concern about her failing to say her name clearly prevents me from thanking her for being encouraging about doing one more church viewing even though my energy was flagging.

Montserrat was very pretty. Very crowded as there was a large group there for a pilgrimage. Was not able to see the black Virgin Mary. Tour guide said on a normal day it would take about 2 hours to see her and you do not have this long there on this tour.

Artistic Barcelona was ok. The trip said it included entrance fees except for the Picasso Museum. It did not. We did not get into any of Gaudi's apartments or Sagrada Familia as we thought we were going to, so I missed this entirely on this trip as we were leaving the next day. We did get into Park Guell, but it is free as it is a public park. If you want to go into Gaudi's sites, do the Hop on Hop Off tour as it takes you to all these sites and more and you can pay the fee and go in at you own leisure. You only see the monumental bull ring and Gaudi's apartments from the tour bus driving by. Very dissapointed we were mislead on the entrance fee inclusion.

Doing what: Artistic Barcelona Afternoon Tour

This tour gives you an overview of the Modernist architecture of Barcelona with stops at Sagrada Familia Church (outside only), and a more extensive stop at Parc Guell, with the tour ending at Santa Maria del Mar Church. The tour guide was very thorough in her commentary and very pleasant.

Doing what: Artistic Barcelona Afternoon Tour

I think the only good thing about the tour was the bus, which was nicely air conditioned. The acoustics of the microphone was poor, even though the tour guide was speaking English. The tour also did not allow us enough time to explore on our own at La Sagrada Familia or Parc Guell. In fact, all we did at La Sagrada Familia was walk around the perimeter of the church. Then we got on the bus again. At Parc Guell, I decided to ditch the tour, so I could explore the park more. It is a big park with much to see. To get back to Central Barcelona, there is a bus (No. 92) that will take you down the hill. The bus stop is right outside the entrance of the park, and the price for the ride is 1,45 euros. The tour had one more stop after Parc Guell, but having ditched the tour, I cannot comment on the final destination.

LOVED the artistic part of the tour to see Parc Guell, etc. Monsterrat was good but may not be worth your time. That part is not guided. After getting off the cog train you are on your own to either hike up to the top, visit the Black Madonna (long line), or hike to the Madonna in the rocks (short and simple hike). You only have time to do 1. very easy to navigate your way around.

Doing what: Barcelona in One Day Sightseeing Tour

Our tour guide Fernando was knowledgeable and courteous. My only complaint would be that we didn't get to see enough of Park Guell.

LOVED the morning at Montserrat! In the afternoon tour (Artistic Barcelona) we were disappointed that we did not have sufficient time to enter the Sagrada Familia, as we did the Park Guell.

Doing what: Artistic Barcelona Afternoon Tour

very good guide; gave tour in 3 languages. the Park Guell was very crowded as was Sagrada Familia.

A very comprehensive and complete tour of Barcelona. We had Carmen as our guide and she was competent.
First half of our tour was Madrid Sightseeing and second half was Artistic tour.
Madrid Sightseeing takes nearly 2.5 to 3 hrs.
We were taken by a bus and stopped for our walking tours. In the bus as well we learn a lot about Barcelona from our guide, highlighting the important buildings etc.

Our First stop was Gothic quarters where we saw old Barcelona, roman walls, government buildings.Barcelona Cathedral is amazing and guide explains to you before going in about the same. After that you go on your own to see it.

Second stop is for harbour views and city views.

Third stop is at the Spanish village. One get to see the Olympic stadium and many other buildings on the way.Spanish village is amazing and after a round you are given some time to explore on your own. Do not miss the glass factory its very nice.

Morning Tour ends here and you are given an option to stay there in Spanish village with Julia picking you up from here (If you have selected lunch with your tour you have to stay here) for artistic tour. Or one can decide to go back to Julia travel, that the main city area and spent some time there. We decided to go back and spent the time in nearby street la Ramba. It was fun. Also the eating option are many we got a nive 10 EUR buffet lunch in restaurant nearby Julia.

Second tour started from Julia's office around 3:20.Highlight of this one is Parc Guell and la Sagrada Family Church. We were shown the outside of the church and different facades. This was one area where I would have liked some more information wrt what exaclty different writings and portraits in facade meant. Though I did get all this information on wikipedia later on.

Tour guide spoke in 3-4 different languages but I did not find that as an issue. My experience of spain tours has been that seperate english guides are not that good.(we had that experience in two of viator madrid tours)

We had two days for Barcelona and we did this tour on day one.I would definitely recommend this one if you are on a short visit and do not want to miss anything.

Doing what: Barcelona in One Day Sightseeing Tour

Great tour.
We did the tour including lunch at Spanish Village. My only complaint would be that we had too much time after lunch before the afternoon tour started.
We saw all the main sites, including Park Guell which was fab (better than expected, we probably wouldn't have chosen to go here but well worth a trip).
A great tour.
