I was very disappointed. There were 2 people who were late. Our tour went to the first site, overlooking Barcelona, and we stayed there for an hour. Another one of your tours came and went. Our guide kept getting phone calls from her office. We felt that we were just waiting there for the people from the ship to come. As soon as the two people arrived in the taxi, we left for the rest of the tour. As soon as we got back, they skipped out and didn't even take the walking tour. We took both the morning and afternoon tours. Both ran way late. The afternoon tour didn't start until 3:00. We barely got to see Park Guell. We were traveling with a group of 10 of our friends . Everyone was angry. We purchased the Hidden Venice tours when we went to Venice, and liked them, and so we had talked the people we were traveling with into all buying your tours of Barcelona. I'm angry that you allowed 2 people to mess this up for everyone. We won't recommend you to our friends again..
We had a great experence!!! My husband and I with our 2 girls (12 and 14) loved the tour with Neal our guide.
The tour gave us all the information we needed to get to know barcelona. The only thing
we should have added was a tour of Park Guell. Time well spent!!!! Thank You! The Petersons
Take this tour! Otherwise, the line for the Sagrada Familia goes on and on and you can stand in the sun waiting for hours. The whimsical architecture is amazing and can't be missed. The tour also included an excellent overview of beautiful Barcelona with a number of stops to walk around special sites. We stopped at MontJuic for a scenic view of Barcelona, the old city with its narrow streets and palaces tucked away with plazas also tucked away, and a nice stop (on the full day tour) at Guell Park, with a chance to spend time looking at other Gaudi houses and related art. It was a really fun day and ended with the remarkable tour inside La Pedrera, a condo building designed by Gaudi.
Wonderful way to see Barcelona - our guide, Gloria, was very informative about the city and its history. Be prepared for a lot of walking. Gaudi's Parc Guell for me was one of the highlights of the tour although we saw so many other beautiful sites.
Just okay. Not great. A lot of time is wasted standing around at Montjuic and then you are rushed through Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell. We would much rather have spent more time in those locations. Be warned..the tour does not leave enough time to do the separate tour of the towers. That being said, the tour is a good way to cover a lot of ground in Barcelona if you only have a day.
The best way the see the main sights in one day!!! The tour started early with an orientation and trip to Monjuic - here, I wish we had a little time to stop at the Poble Espanyol.... but we were rewarded instead with plenty of time at the Sagrada Familia. The walking tour was very informative and I feel like we saw some little corners of Barcelona that I would have missed otherwise. After lunch, we went on to Parque Guell and La Pedrera, ending our day in the Eixample's main shopping street, the Passeig de Gracia. Our guide, Jordi was great. Can't wait to go back to Barcelona!!!!
Loved this tour. We took the full day tour which makes it a long day but if you are only in town for a couple days it is the best way to see everything the city offers. You still need to see the La Sagrada Familia on your own because you will only see the outside but everything else in the city is covered on this tour. Loved the Spanish Village and Guell Park. This tour is the only tour you will need to see it all.
Doing what: Barcelona in One Day Sightseeing Tour
Solid tour but not enough time at park Guell for full day tour ... Time there was rushed but guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and tour was well run ... Other gripe is there should be chance to upgrade at sagrada familia to get audio tour ... You get to skip ticket line but NOT line for audi
This was one of the best tours from my European holiday, our guide was excellent and every knowledgeable!
It is a must to go inside Sagrada Familia, do not miss this, it's so worthwhile- never seen anything like it and skipping the line was an added bonus.
Make sure you upgrade to the full day tour as well, we loved Park Guell and La Pedrera was also good to see-got to skip the line there as well!
We also enjoyed how you got your own free time to explore each of the places we visited. Once the guide shows yo through La Pedrera, the full day tour leaves you there to spend as much time there as you wish. It is centrally located and the guide will point you in the direction of your accommodation so you can get back easily.
This tour is actually two separate tours - morning and afternoon (time for lunch break between the tours). Both tour guides were knowledgeable and ensured the tour was informative as well as enjoyable. We liked the different Guadi buildings and Park Guell. We'd highly recommend this tour if you want to see the more interesting parts of Barcelona in one day.
Doing what: Barcelona in One Day Sightseeing Tour
Good tour to see the highlights though we did not see the Bull ring as stated. The 2 Gaudi houses are drive-bys only so you have the luck of the draw whether the traffic lights allow you time to see them or not. Construction on Sagrada Familia meant we only saw 2 sides of the church this trip, which is too bad. Park Guell is pretty but may not be worth the time for some people. We left the tour at the Cathedral and walked back to our hotel since it was closer than ending the tour at the Museum (since we were on evening tour adn it was closed anyway). Our Guide was good and provided nice commentary in EN, FR and ESP.
This is a great way to get an overview of Barcelona especially if you have only one day. We used it to get to the Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell, then stayed on the bus for the rest of the circuit. We thus got to see all over Barcelona while learning about the various neighborhoods and a bit of history. We intended to go on the other route to go out to Camp Nou but were just too tired. If you have more than one day it would certainly be an easy way to get to all sorts of destinations. If you have limited time and are just interested in one or two attractions, it might be cheaper to take taxis or the metro, but if you want to see the city and learn about it, this is a good way to go.
My boyfriend and I went on a first time trip to visit Barcelona and we really wanted a tour of the city that touched upon the major tourist attractions and culture history of Barcelona. We chose the full day of the tour and our guide Ana was far best one of the most knowledgable, passionate, and friendly guide we have encountered. We were very happy and satifisfied with Ana, she was very positive and animated through the entire trip. Ana made our first time trip to Barcelona very worth while as she was very friendly, and patient with her group of tourists. Our tour was divided up into traveling by bus/taxi and then by foot around certain areas of Barcelona which was a good mix. We stopped by areas such as: La Sagrada Familia, gothic area, la pedredra, parc guell (gaudi) etc..Ana shared some of her background with us and we were glad to have a guide that grew up in Barcelona as she had side stories to tell us about the city. If you want to have a fun and enjoyable experience around Barcelona, this tour with Ana is the way to go!
Not recommended. The information provided by the guide regarding Park Guell, its origins and features, during the tour is readily available on the Internet. Better to visit the park without a guide and save the cost of the tour!
Doing what: Gaudi's Park Guell Guided Walking Tour
Very disappointed. Impossible to appreciate Gaudi's buildings while speeding past in bus. Not enough time at Parc Guell. Group too big to manage and tour tried to achieve too much in limited time!
