Doing what: Pyrenees Mountains Small Group Day Trip from Barcelona
This tour was fun! Although it rained we still managed to make the most of our trip to the Pyrenees. Our tour guide, Fabian was incredible! He is well versed in the area and region of Spain, and had much information to share with us on everything from the history of the towns we were in, to random facts of places we crossed. The Pyrenees is a breathtaking mountain where you can picnic or hike or have a hot chocolate. Definitely take the cable car up to the top, because you will not want to miss the spectacular view. My favorite part of the whole experience was being able to peruse through the hustle and bustle of the farmers market in Vic! The fresh produce and bakeries and meat shops were simply inspiring! If you enjoy food, outdoors and history, this tour is highly recommended.

It is a small group tour(8 people) Our guide Fabian was the best. He is so knowledgeable about the Catalan area and answered many questions, He was interesed in helping us with the rest of our stay in Barcelona. We stopped in Vic and the entered the cathedral. Were able to buy cheese and fuet here and had time to get a coffee and explore the city a bit. I love mountains and the Pyrenees are not to be missed. Our destination of vall De Nuria did not disappoint. Do walk to the top or take the furnicular up. Food is avaialble at this site. Fabian loves his job and shows it.

This was a great trip!! My cousin and I spent a couple of days in Barcelona before leaving on a cruise, and for the rest of the trip we kept saying we wanted to go back to the Pyrenees.
Alex, our tour guide, was great. He gave a lot of history about Vic and the Pyrenees. And we had a really diverse group on the tour as well, which provided great conversations.
The tour was a nice mix of lightly guided with lots of free time. There was no sense of being herded around because there were only 8 of us with the group.
Absolutely perfect.

Fantastic Day! Along the way to the Pyrenees, our tour guide Anna ( fluent in English and engaging to talk with ) provided us with the opportunity to enjoy several old medieval towns, including at stop at a 10th century church. A local butcher provided us with a taste of Spanish sausages and cheese, perfect for our picnic lunch in the Pyrenees. The mountains are raw and gorgeous, and at her direction we chose the perfect hike. Fantastic trip.

Doing what: Pyrenees Mountains Small Group Day Trip from Barcelona
It's extremely tough to get to the Pyrenees from Barcelona without having a car. This tour provides a good way of getting there, while getting tons of local history as well! Note: you only spend a few hours up in the Pyrenees. Don't go in thinking you'll have the entire day to hike in the mountains, or you'll be disappointed. I would have preferred more time in the Pyrenees (and less in Vic), but I enjoyed the tour highly nonetheless.

Doing what: Pyrenees Mountains Small Group Day Trip from Barcelona
We recently took the Pyrenees day trip. It was a great day. Our guide was very personable, informative, and enthusiastic about the sights. The old town area of Vic was lovely, with a nice church to visit and many cute food shops. We then took the train from Queralbs to Vall de Nuria, which was spectacular. It is a beautiful region nestled in the mountain peaks. We then visited the tiny village of Queralbs, where our guide asked the mayor's wife for an antique key to open a small church that's over 1000 years old, so that we could see inside. We were the only tourists in town! It was a great experience, and one of our favorite days on our trip to Spain!

To anybody visiting Barcelona, I would highly recommend this tour. It is totally worth every penny of your money. Our tour started with the visit to the centuries old catalonian city of Vic where our guide gave many intersting historical insights. We then moved on to the Pyrenees which has got to offer some spendid views of landscapes. The valley provides a very nice location for click-clicking!!! The mountains have many hiking routes which our guide had thoroughly explained, so we took one of them and enjoyed the breath-taking views. You can even take cable car (tickets included in the fare along with the train ticket upto Pyrennes), go horse-riding or boating, so lots of activities to choose from in an ample amnt of time. You won't feel the need to rush. Our trip finally concluded with the visit to a beautiful mountain town of Queralb where again our guide had lots to share about its history. She actually made history intersting!! She paid individual attention to each one of us and helped us in interacting with our other co-passengers. She was real fun and friendly, she made the trip all the more lively and seems to be the best guide we ever met. We had a terrific day!! Don't miss this excursion.

This day tour was excellent! It was a very striking change from the palm trees and crowds of Barcelona, as we saw small towns on the way to the Pyrenees, and knee deep snow atop the mountains. The first stop on the tour, in the town of Vic, was a great way to spend the morning seeing a smaller slice of Catalan life. The afternoon is spent taking the train up the mountain and enjoying the hiking and views below. Our guide was fantastic!

The Pyrenees tour was a wonderful blend of historical ruins, unique mountain village (Queralbs) and easy hiking. Our guide had a very good understanding of the history and culture, and happily answered all our questions. The rack railway ride was a unique experience and offered wonderful mountain views. This was a great day activity for a family with teenagers, and offered a good complement to our Barcelona city holiday.

Anna, our tour guide was extremely friendly and courteous. Although we could not go hiking at the resort in the Pyrenees secondary to wind and snow conditions, she made sure we were comfortable and still had a great time. The tour included a great look at the city of Vic and Querab. Our guide even went as far as to introduce us to the former mayor of the city who allowed us entry to the small church there in the evening.

Great trip! Pricey for a college student, but it would have been difficult to get to the Pyrenees on our own. We were given a great experience at a Catalonian town (Vic) and had plenty of time in the Pyrenees to hike around. Trip flowed well, we were never rushed or felt like things were too slow. I had a great day and was glad we did this.

We loved our Pyrenees Mountains day trip!! It was an awesome experience and we highly recommend this tour! Our guide Christian was fabulous and very knowledgeable. The size of our group was perfect with 13 people. We really enjoyed stopping in the beautiful historic town of Vic, learning Catalonian history from Christian and having a picnic at the Pyrenees. The views were breathtaking and the trip was overall amazing. Thanks so much Christian for a fabulous and unforgettable day!
