I am a huge, huge Gaudi fan, I just love his style and design and La Pedrera is one of my favorite buildings. This was our second time to Barcelona and I was unable to tour it last time so this time I decided it was a must see. I found this tour via Viator and when I noticed it was a night time tour I figured this was the way to go. Our tour guide was very good, she had excellent knowledge about the building's history and about Gaudi himself. La Pedrera is a spectacular building and the apartment we saw was just beautiful. There were no angles, just an ever shifting flow of wavy circular walls. I know if I lived there I would never want to move. The attic and the roof top were really the true treats. In the attic space you could see where Gaudi used inspiration from nature to create his buildings. The attic walls had the appearance of a spine and ribs of a whale. The rolling roof top and the centurion looking chimneys appeared to be standing guard of the building. We noticed that from one of the outlooks on the roof and arch seemed to be framing Sagrada Família, Gaudi's current work in progress and probably masterpiece. It is too much of coincidence for it to be accidental and was probably by design to highlight his next work that was financed by this building. After the tour we were treated to a glass of Cava and chance to spend time in one the buildings courtyards. it was a great night and a highly enjoyable tour.

Doing what: Barcelona in One Day Sightseeing Tour

It was an excellent one day overview of what should not be missed in Barcelona. It was actually two tours. The morning tour handled the Gothic quarter, walking the area, seeing the Roman ruins, churches, etc., then the more modern areas including the cable car to the mountain top and the Spanish Village. Not a lot of free time, but if you are only there for one day, enough for souvenirs. Then a two hour break for lunch on your own. After that, the second tour which was mostly Gaudi's works. The total tour gave us an excellent overview and some ideas on where we wanted to go the next day for individual exploring. The tour was done in multiple languages both times, but the guides seemed to treat all with an equal hand. The busses were clean, and checking in for the tour was easy. Overall, if you have never been in Barcelona, I would recommend this tour.

Breathtaking, amazing building! great tour guide who was very informative. This was my favorite Gaudi building!
We loved the Cava at the end of the night, and some people in our tour didn't want their's so we were given extra!

Wonderful experience- I highly recomend this tour, Seeing this at night is inspiring- its like being in Wonderland. Everyone inour group seems to have felt the same way. (I want some of what Gaudi was smoking!)

Doing what: Barcelona in One Day Sightseeing Tour

One of the best day tour's ever. We had lovely weather and the Gaudi buildings and park were amazing up close and personal! The whole tour was great and the tour guides: we had two were both friendly, professional and full of information and interesting facts about Barcelona and it's famous inhabitants! Would highly recommend this tour! It does tire you out though!

A really interesting tour with an extra exciting touch while visiting thos gorgeous building at night. We had the possibility to take some extraordinary pictures and the guide was really engaged and gave us lots of extra information and added a personal touch that was very enjoyable. The wrap-up with a glass of chilled cava on the roof surrounded by Gaudi's architechture and with an astonishing view of Barcelona at night certainly was a perfect ending of an amazing tour.

Doing what: Barcelona in One Day Sightseeing Tour

this is a beautiful city with lots to see. I enjoyed the opportunity to get off the bus and walk through the sites. The guides were great, answered all the questions they recieved and were very informative. I didn't look closely enough, this tour does not have time to go into Gaudi's church which would have been nice.

Superb tour of the city! In AM and early afternoon, I went all over the city. In the mid-afternoon, I got a chance to look at Gaudi's works, especially Park Guell. The morning guide, Agnes was great. The afternoon guide was also very good, even though my concern about her failing to say her name clearly prevents me from thanking her for being encouraging about doing one more church viewing even though my energy was flagging.

Doing what: Artistic Barcelona Afternoon Tour

This tour was amazing! I had been to Barca before but when I came I didn't have a chance to see all of Gaudi's work since it is so spread out across the city. This tour made sure you saw everything!

Wonderful interesting tour. I don't think I ever cared much about architecture before this trip and my introduction to Gaudi on this tour. Parc Guiell was so impressive and fun, and I appreciated the guide's extra information about everything we were seeing. While would have enjoyed experiencing the park on my own it was a better experience for a first-timer like myself to know a little about the creator of the park and some night into why and were certain things are in the park. The Segrada Familia was absolutely breathtaking, even just from the outside. I had seen pictures before, but nothing can really prepare you for how amazing this structure is when you see it in person and are standing there looking up at it. Once again the guide was terrific, and I loved how she made sure we could all hear her when she talked or explained something.

Doing what: Barcelona in One Day Sightseeing Tour

This tour required us to meet at the tour office. It is not difficult to find. Our one-day tour was actually the morning and afternoon tours combined. We were given a lunch break between tours, then returned to the tour operator's office for the afternoon tour. Our morning guide was very personable and provided commentary in both English and Spanish. We did walk through a portion of the old town and were able to go inside the cathedral. We did not do a walking tour of Port Olympic. As for seeing the Olympic stadium, that was a drive-by viewing. We did go into Poble Espanol and have a drink of the Cava, a Spanish champagne. It would have been nice to have had more time to wander the village. In the afternoon, our guide was very informative and also multi-lingual. We covered everything listed in the itinerary. You get to see the outside of the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. It is an unfinished cathedral, but worth going back to see. There is an admission fee for this church to help pay for the completion of the construction, ongoing for more than 100 years. This tour was mainly a look at the work of the architect, Gaudi. We would recommend both the morning and afternnon tours as a way of seeing Barcelona more in-depth.
