This was a very full walking tour of the old/gothic part of the city. Each of the 3 tapas places were all very different serving different types of tapas. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a passion about the city.
It was very informative about all different types of food and beverages as you walked through the historic part of town. As a note, the food we sampled was a fruit tray from the market area and then we got a coupon at the end of the tour for a beverage and tapa. But, the tapa already pre-chosen for you and the guide doesn't stay with you since it's the end of the tour. I would recommend for the future tours for them to allow time for everyone to stop and eat/try along the way since you see so many great things. Unfortunately by the end you are so far away you don't really want to walk all the way back to the shops you wanted to visit.
Nico was the best guide! The city, the architecture, the food, the culture were all part of the tour! Our group was so much fun and this was the perfect introduction to Barcelona. The food choices were fabulous - we were all stuffed by the end of the night! My sister and I only had one day in Barcelona and Nico made it a memorable evening with the group.
Very nice, but a bit crowdy in restaurants - not easy to know what kind of tapas we had. Otherwise it was very nice, clever guide!
Antonio, our guide was wonderful. He knoew all the local information about Las Ramblas and he really made the mercado come to life. Great tour!
An excellent way to have a pleasant introduction to the old city area. Tapas were delicious, and our guide gave us a lot of insight into the local cuisine. Highly recommended.
We had the best guide who brought us to the most creative tapas bars. His knowledge of the cuisine and history of Spain was extensive. Great value for the money.
Guide was excellent, very knowledgeable about Catalun food, culture and history, great variations of tapas and drinks provided
The tour was ok, our guide seemed a little bored and the final tapas offered as part of the tour gave us food poisioning which took us 48 hrs to recover from, not ideal when in Barcelona and looking to enjoy the food. So in summary do the tour - it's good to get an idea of the city and give the final tapa's a miss.
