Unfortunately we went on this trip on a misty rainy day. Fullers offered us a full refund if we didn't want to go du to the bad weather or a shorter trip at a reduced cost. We decided to go and we were glad we did, still an enjoyable trip and we saw lots of Dolphins swimming up close to the boat, we couldn't go to the Hole in the Rock due to rough seas but we enjoyed the day despite the weather.
Most beautiful sceneries ever.
Great family day out. The crew really made a big effort for the children, even giving them fake pirate tattoos. From the views to the food and private beach swimming this is definetly a bay of islands must do. Thank you to all the crew
Full on day with spectacular weather. Saw dolphins up close but had a calf so unable to swim with them. Boom netting was a great alternative! Lunch on island was terrific, had a walk, climbed the hill and admired the views. Skipper very knowledgable and we went through the hole the in rock, perfect
Absolutely fantastic trip. Firstly we were allowed, at no extra cost to travel to Russell on the other side of the Bay and spend a few hours looking round the lovely little town. Then with no hassle we bordered our trip and had a great time. Staff were excellent and very informative telling us about the dolphins etc.
We had a lovely stop on the local island of Urupukapuka, stunning. If you have time take thi strip worth every penny
we pre booked overseas and the trip was all we had hoped for, the weather was kind, the dolphin's played, we swam and even ate fresh muscles, your crew were amazing. The boat catered for everyone able and not so able the captain kept everyone laughing and well informed, We and everyone else had a day to remember .
thankyou all very much . The Menzies family 5/2/14
Great trip! Lovely hosts and great boat. very clean. good info and cool trip. Bay of Islands well worth the visit and best way is by cruise.
Enjoyed the cruise and would recommend it. Only thing I would say would be that you have to be fit to walk up the steep hill the cruise drops you off at. Its a bit more than a 5 min walk as originally told by the boat driver. Other than that, it was great and got to see some dolphins really up close.
We really enjoyed the tour - the weather was perfect, the scenery beautiful, water crystal clear and the sea life amazing - so many fish! Dolphins surfed behind the catamaran and we managed to get this on video. The boat captain who also acted as the tour guide was very knowledgeable and even went out of his way to give a young passenger a special treat by finding his dad on a local fishing charter boat. Well done.
Only one improvement - for the cost we thought a light lunch could have been provided.
We decided to disembark at Russell and walked up Flagstaff Hill to enjoy the magnificent view then ate a wonderful lunch of sensational NZ seafood including some delightful oysters, calamari and fresh snapper at the Swordfish Club (10/10).
Overall a very beautiful part of New Zealand - we are looking forward to a return holiday.
Great trip. Weather wasn't fantastic but that can't be helped
This tour is possibly the best experience one could have in N Z. We can recommend it for all ages.
We went on this tour as a family of five (parents plus three young adult sons). All of us thoroughly enjoyed the day, and even learned some things along the way. The crew was very warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. We could not have asked for a better way to explore the Bay.
Best thing we did in New Zealand...good weather helped!
Most impressed with the professional crew and the excellent facilities on board. The Dinner and Breakfast were delicious and drinks were very reasonably priced. We also met some very interesting people as well as enjoying the sights of the beautiful Bay of Islands.
