My husband and I did the full-day Normandy battlefield tour. It was fantastic. We were staying at a hotel in Bayeux and the tour guide/driver came to pick us up in a van around 8:30 am. Our guide, Ann Sophie, was very friendly and knowledgeable and we learned a great deal. It was sunny but windy. We went to German Cemetery, Ste Mere Eglise, Airborne Museum, Utah Beach, Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach and American Cemetery (plus a nice no-host lunch). We were glad that we did the full-day tour instead of half day so that we weren't rushed. I took so many pictures that my batteries ran out toward the end. There were no gift shops to replace batteries...I'll bring extras next time! I would highly recommend this tour.

Excellent tour! Our guide, Jonathan, promptly picked us up at our B and B and he was knowledgeable and entertaining. The visit to the American Cemetary was moving.

Doing what: Mont Saint Michel Day Trip
The bus ride from Paris is long, but worth it. The lunch provided is okay. There is a shuttle bus to take you to the bridge. I took the guided tour rather than liberté (on your own). From the bus stop, you have to walk to the entrance of Mont Saint Michel and then through the medieval town — you roughly climb about 350 steps to the entrance of the abbey. The tour guide was very pleasant and made sure no one was left behind. She provided great history and answered all our questions. The trip was timeless!

It was great trip and was very informative. You really get a sense of what the Allied forces were up against.
Philip was a great guide and was very knolwedge in the subject.

Doing what: Mont Saint Michel Day Trip
Tour guide was very friendly and knowledgable about french history and Mont Saint Michel. Lunch which was included was ok. Bus travel to/from Mont Saint Michel was very good and comfortable. Not enough time given to tour surronding village given how crowded the village was, could of used another hour.

Excellent! Our tour guide was Sylvain Kast and he was very knowledgeable and personable. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the day and would strongly recommend Sylvain as your tour guide to anyone who wants to see the D-Day beaches and surrounding area.

The tour content was excellent and most of it the guide knowledge and kindness, she knew so much about the war and actually about the history in general, so if you are a fan of history this is your tour.

Our guide Jonathon(sp) was fantastic. He was very social and knowledgable about all the sites on tour as well as other WWII facts. We were traveling with our toddler and he was very considerate of this fact. Would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Beyond my expectations. Matthieu was a wonderful guide, teaching so much history in such an engaging style. While it is possible to go at it on your own, renting a car and reading a guide book along the way, this experience was so much richer. Don't hesitate to book a tour. You won't regret it!!!

My husband and I loved this half-day tour. We only had a day to spend in Bayeux and we felt lucky to get such a great half-day tour of the beaches. Most of that was due to the fantastic tour guide we had. He was excellent - spoke good English and did a great job of showing us the area. We were very pleased with the price as well. I highly recommend it.
