Doing what: Omaha Beach Half-Day Trip from Bayeux
The tour was one of the highlights of my trip to France. It was a morning tour and since most tours start in the afternoon the sites were not crowded. The tour guide was so very knowledgeable and made every effort to provide meaningful detail. I would love to go back and do a full day tour some time. Also, Bayeaux is just lovely. If you are on the fence about doing a DDay tour, make the decision to do it. Well worth the time.

THE NORMANDY TOUR WAS WELL WORTH THE MONEY AND "SLY" , OUR GUIDE, WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND WELL EDUCATED ON THE SITE AND IT'S MILITARY HISTORY AND SIGNIFIGANCE. A MUST SEE IF YOU KNOW ANYONE THAT WAS IN THE INVASION.

Our 5 hour mini van tour was wonderful. Francis our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate talking about the war and the battles on the beaches. We really learned a lot more than if we had gone off on our own. I only wish we had more time; there was so much to see!

very imformative. Anna Sophie really knewvanlot about the war..the landing sites etc. She had pictures of the places we visited showing how things looked during the battle. Highly recommend using Viator and will definitly

We had an excellent guide who was a young French chap with excellent English. Being English ourselves and touring with young kids (age 8 and 10), I rather got the impression we were a refreshing change from the regular visitors. The tour was superb and the guide demonstrated his obvious enthusiasm for the history of his home town and made the information relevant and interesting for a family with very little knowledge of WWII. Superb !

Fantastic tour. Guide was extremely knowledgable in the history of the area and war - you could tell she had a strong interest in it all and wasn't just regurgitating a script. Comfortable 8 person van for the trip. We had a lovely time and would recommend it to anyone, even if you don't have a strong interest in the war, it's still very interesting.

Outstanding day, a great guide, Lucia, and the weather was superb. Take an early train from Paris and take the time in the morning to see the Bayeux Tapestry before embarking on this afternoon tour. You won't be disappointed. A great day!

our tour, run by the very knowledgeable and friendly and accomodating Lucille was great. Very much full of facts and context for all the facts. I cannot thank Lucill enouhg for her deep and intelligent analysis of the places we went to and their context with D-Day- She was able to answer all our questions and be perfectly understood, with a charming French accent. Thank you so much for making this very important tour so memorable.
