The guide was really knowledgable and entertaining, a good day.

A very full day and the guide was exceptional. Lunch was fantastic good and plenty of it. Loved all the places we stopped at.

Overall the trip was worth the money. It was a good introduction to Beijing, especially for someone who has never been there before. However, the tour was rushed at the end. We only spent about 40 minutes (there was only 2 of us on the tour) at The Summer Palace. This place is so huge, a full day doesn't even do it justice (I did go back). Also, the Temple of Heaven was rushed.

This should have been a memorable day - guide was amusing and lunch was good - however THREE factory visits was TOO MUCH. I paid for the sights and NOT a visit to a factory. Time wasted at the factories detracted considerably from time we should have spent at these glorious sights. We were positively rushed through Summer Palace - such a shame! Be warned.

As a solo female traveller, it was great to be in a group with other American and see these amazing sights. Beijing is a massive city and it can be a challenge getting around, so being on a tour group was certainly a great choice. The sights and info and guide were great and the lunch was very good. The visits to the Jade, Silk etc factories can get old after you have gone more than ocne, but the information and intro is very interesting. Highly recommend the tour and Viator.

Good tour but, guide needs better english pronunciation.

I ended up being the only one so it was an all day private tour. All 4 sites were very cool and the tour gives you plenty of time to take it all in and take plenty of pictures. I was also taken to 2 factories, one that shows how the local silk is made and the other for fresh water pearls; beware it it definitely a ploy to get you to buy stuff. I ended it buying a few things and moved on. Definitely a good trip to see most of the main sites in Beijing.

Excellent tour. With foreign tourists down over 80% since 2008, this tour through Viator was like a private tour for 6 + driver + English speaking guide. Guide was very informative and knowledgeable. With just 6 of us in the tour, we could ask a lot of questions to learn more of the city and culture. Lunch was excellent with lots to eat.

As usual, fantastic tour with energetic and bright tour guide...i've done Viator tours of all types in Paris, Normandy, Milan, Rome/Vatican City and Berlin and have never been disappointed! The ONLY criticism in the tours in China is when your are taken on side visitsto so called "silk and jade factories", where you are basically turned over to high-pressure sales folks. The real tours are absolutely worth it...you just have to grin and bear the other part.

Superb day, fantastic guide an extremely personalised tour.

Contacted by guide night before tour. It happened to be private tour. Guide was speking very well English. Great knowledge about all places I have visited.

Guide very very knowledgable and friendly. Arranged for us to not wait in queues, and showed other areas of city not outlined.

Good tour to do if you want to see all of the important tourist attractions in one day. Again we were taken to a pearl factory and some other unannounced shopping stops which annoyed me and the other 7 people on our tour. Lunch was mediocre. The sights were beautiful, but our tour guide Jackie had a very strong accent and was difficult for us to understand at times.

This was a perfect one day experience of Beijing. I would recommend it to anyone.

By far one of the best, if not the best, tours of Beijing we had. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Tour was very informative. Got to see all the sites per the itinerary. Driver was a bit of a road warrior though.
