Doing what: Private Custom Tour: Beijing in One Day

My guide Michael was very informative and pleasant as we toured the Forbidden City,
Tiananmen Square etc. He arrived at my hotel as scheduled and since I had just arrived from NYC, he was a welcome sight.

The tour was wonderful. The guide, Jason was so interresting. He spoke english very well ( the best guide) .
He was so nice with us and with our chidren.

This was an excellent tour of the highlights of Beijing. Very interesting and beautiful. Our excellent guide (Zoe) made the day. Her English was excellent as well as her knowledge of the history and culture.

Nice guy very informative caring made sure we arrived back at our hotel, we were switching hotels that day, before signing off. I would have no trouble recommending Jason to anyone.

Overall, this tour was great...the places we visited were very interesting and the guide was extremely informative. The guide, however, was very much inserting his own personal opinion about how much better China was than all other countries. I think it's great to have pride in your country but not to the degree that you are uing disparaging remarks about other countries...or the people from those countries. Again, it was a great tour and the guide very knowledgeable but I could have done without the propaganda pitch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day and our tour guide, Jason, was fantastic. Jason met us in our hotel and before starting out for the day, he asked us where we'd like to go and what we'd like to see in Beijing. Jason had so much knowledge and was informative, but never boring! We were recommended to purchase goods from the government shops as the quality is guaranteed. The prices were reasonable. Do be careful when shopping in other places as there are plenty of fakes, or "genuine copies" available in China. I would highly recommend this tour because it allows you the freedom to see what you want and spend as little or as much time as you want in any one place.

The absolute best way to see Beijing! Comprehensive tour that allows you to see all the main attractions in just a few hours. Our guide was great and the food delicious!

Doing what: Private Custom Tour: Beijing in One Day

A bit rushed in some places but got to see most of what I wanted. Gave me the experience of getting around the city so was able to return to places on my own where I wanted to see more.

There is a lot to see and do in Beijing and this tour includes a good selection of sites. Shopping stops were not too long and no high sales pressure. The lunch wasvery good and our tour guide Michael was very nice and spoke great English.

A very full day and the guide was exceptional. Lunch was fantastic good and plenty of it. Loved all the places we stopped at.

The guide was friendly and informative, he made every effort to take us to all the places we wanted to go taking the traffic into consideration.

The guide was really knowledgable and entertaining, a good day.

Very enjoyable, great sights however visits were rushed due to the sheer number of places to visit on the trip

Jackie Li was our guide for this tour which we completed with one other couple. He willingly shared his detailed knowlegde of all the site's seen and is obviously a very proud Chinaman. Unfortunately, at times, we found his pronounciations of some English words difficult to comprehend, and his practice of giving us his 'orations' then quickly turning to head off to the next point of interest, left very limited opportunities for us to seek clarifications of what he had said and /or to ask questions. That said, both Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City are much larger than I had expected and well worth seeing. Both my wife and I found the tour to be most informative.

Note from Viator: Note from Viator: Thank you for your review. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced during your tour. We have contacted the tour company and have addressed your concern about guide's English skills with them. Thank you for helping us ensure the quality of our tours.
