Doing what: Beijing Private Tour: Tea Ceremony, Hongqiao Market and Kung Fu Show with Peking Duck Dinner
I would like to give you some feedback for Chris who took us to a tea ceremony, the pearl markets, the Peking duck dinner and the Kung fu show at the red theatre. We would highly recommend your guide, Chris, she was very helpful, extremely informative and spoke very good English which was welcomed. We had a wonderful tour and all of our needs were met. Thank you very much for your service.

Doing what: Beijing Private Tour: Tea Ceremony, Hongqiao Market and Kung Fu Show with Peking Duck Dinner
I went on the Beijing Private Tour on Thursday, 25 April 2013. The tour guide was excellent - friendly and knowledgeable. I would like to thank you for the gift and also allowing me to customize the tour to include the Temple of Heaven and Olympic Park. If I return to Beijing in the future I will be in touch to find out what other tours you have.

Doing what: Private Tour: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Tea Ceremony in Beijing
I recently had some tours from some of your lovely guides around Beijing of the forbidden city, temple of heaven, Beijing opera and the night walking tour. The tour guides were wonderful; very knowledgeable of the areas, and fun people to spend time with. I was very impressed with their prompt and timely starts to the tours, which was especially important being in a new city as it was reassuring that I was meeting them in the correct place and there was no confusion. I have experienced poor timeliness in the past so I was really appreciative of the tour guides for this attribute. The tours were well structured, and very good value for money, and I was happy that I was neither rushed nor delayed with the time I spent at each location and with the guides. The mixture of private cars, local transportation, and planned meals was excellent and I feel that I had a well rounded and informative experience in Beijing learning about the history and culture of the intriguing city. I particularly appreciated the professional experience and coordination between the main office, the guides, the locations visited and the drivers. I have been very happy with the experience and I fully recommend that others use Viator for planning their own tours. In light of this I have copied into this email my friend Ester who would like to organise some tours for Beijing, and I hope you are able to organise some fun activities for her! She is particularly interested in going to the Great Wall of China. Thank you very much for the wonderful experiences which I will carry with me for a life time!

Doing what: Shixiaguan Great Wall Hiking Adventure with Transport from Beijing
Overall the hike was fantastic, as it is away from the typical tourist routes and had an amazing views of the surroundings.
On the way to the wall, the tour guide stopped at a 'Jade Factory' which was not mentioned in the tour description or material on the web site. Also we were disappointed to find that the 'home-cooked' meal with the 'locals' mentioned was a hotel style lunch at the Jade factory ! Our group of 6 were quite annoyed at this and made a 'group decision' to not stop at the 'Olympic Stadium' which as supposedly part of the itinerary that was not on the tour materials on the website.
Having said all this, for those who enjoy hiking, this one is recommended !

Doing what: Beijing Essential Full-Day Tour including Great Wall at Badaling, Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square
We had Mike on our tour and it was fantastic. Remember, you will be stopping by a Jade Factory, Silk Museum, and Tea House, so if you aren't into all that then this is not your tour. All three will try to sell you expensive products afterwards, however, the tea is pretty neat and seems to be worth the money. The food at the Jade Factory is nothing special, so you may want to bring a snack. Mike is really knowledgeable, speaks great English, and we all had a blast. The Great Wall is absolutely incredible, but be ready for a serious hike. Finally, the tour involves driving out of the city which will certainly lead to sitting in traffic. Be prepped for an all day event.

Doing what: Shixiaguan Great Wall Hiking Adventure with Transport from Beijing
This tour was an extraordinary opportunity to visit a distant but lightly-traveled part of the Great Wall. Our guide spoke only Chinese, but her love of this part of China was readily apparent. Other people we encountered on the trail were able to fill in the translation. The hike was very strenuous and challenging, quickly climbing and descending 1430 feet, sometimes on mere stone rubble. Only fit persons with significant hiking experience should attempt it.
