Absolutely engaging full day-guide explained what we needed to get from tour-3 important points - Old Beijing, New Beijing, Axion
He chatted the entire tour- very informative and a joy as we went thru all the sights including ricksaw, Drum Tower, Great Wall
highly recommend but w/an engaging and delightful guide as JASON
Our tour was very interesting. Our guide Zoe was extremely helpful and told us all the history of China during the tour. We enjoyed our guide and tour so much - we booked a Great Wall tour the next weekend with Zoe.

The Pandas were an absolute must see for my wife and we were fortunate that one of the pandas put on a bit of a show for us, rolling around and munching on what bambooo was available to it. The conditions that the pandas are kept in is, however, somewhat depressing in that they appreared to be bored and stressed and/or depressed. Michael, our tour guide, was informative and laid back, but always available for questions on all the site's seen.
The guide -another Michael- was quite nice. It was a VIP-Tour ;) Only me, the driver and Michael! First we visited the Tiananmen-Square, then the forbidden city. He arranged it very interesting. Next stop was a silk-factory. Also very interesting and they didn´t force you to buy something. Then lunch - combined with a jade-factory in the middle of nowhere! It was awful!!! I have been left alone with the most horrible food I ever had. I felt like caged in this factory! After 15 minutes I left the room with the workers through a servants` exit. Then I had to wait 15 minutes for the pick up through my guide, HORRIBLE - never would do this again. After this we went to a different place of the wall (he told me in the car - Badaling would be crowded!). In Juyongguan I climbed the wall and it was worth whole day suffering ;)! To come to a conclusion: Be sure not to visit the Jade factory and all will be fine!

The Tour was nice - especially Mr. Lee who guided us from hotel to city and back-! One guy (Michael) asked for more tip - although tip is not usual in China (we gave him 20 Yuan). This was the worst thing on this tour! Because he was very unpolite! The hutongs and the Belltower were interesting to see. The tea-factory could have been left behind!!!!
Not happy with the dinner! It was cold, greasy and seemed to be unclean. Was misinformed that the dinner and show were not together. Tour guide was not with driver due to traffic and the driver could not speak English. Overall it was terrible and not up to the quality of previous Viator tours.
Our tour was terrific! The guide at the Hutongs was very good. She included additional information and her English was also very good.
We had a great time visiting the Acrobatic show which presented a troupe of young acrobats with a lot of talent. The Peking Duck was wonderful as the the chef brought the meal to the table and showed the Chinese way of preparing and eating this delicacy. Word of warning that smoking is still allowed in Chinese restraunts.
The acrobat show was terrific. We were once again the only 2 on this tour. The only downside to this tour is that when we got to the theatre there were many tours already there and our seats were not allocated. Therefore we were squeezed in amongst other tourists- they moved some people so we could sit together. Would have thought that prebooking a show would have meant reserved seating. Our seats were the second to last row to the back. We were not late as you are picked up so early - we arrived 35 minutes before the start of the show. The show was fantastic - well worth seeing. The duck dinner was excellent. The restaurant was on the edge of a lake. It included other dishes as well as the duck. A cook stands near your table and slices the duck in front of you. There was plenty of food so much so that we could not eat it all.
