While you’ll find cherry blossom trees scattered throughout the city, Yuyuantan Park is famous for them, having more than 2,000 trees of more than 20 varieties — the highest concentration anywhere in Beijing. The first 180 cherry trees planted in the park were gifted to China by Japan in 1973.
