The whole occasion at the Charlottenburg dinner and concert was truly delightful. Both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

"An Evening at the Charlottenburg palace Dinner and Concert" definitely was 5 star. The setting and performances both in the dining and music halls were excellent . The servers were especially pleasant. Plus, the affair was well run, with very little dead time
between dinner and the concert. If I had to make any complaint, it would be that the food, though quite good, was not up to the level of the rest of the activities. I would heartily recommend this tour to anyone visiting Berlin.

Our visit to the charlottenburg palace was an experience we very much enjoyed, it was a surprise for my husbands birthday and felt that although it wasnt cheap it was well worth it.

Firstly though I would suggest that you make the most of your palace tour by arriving early so that you have at least 2 hours to do the self guided tour easily before arriving at the Orangery for your meal.

We felt the waiting time for your meal was a little to long as the staff were concentrating on selling drinks. (I asked for a glass of tap water)before before ordering a drink and having my meal and was told they did not have any tap water and I would have to buy a bottle of water, yet later in the evening I seen a jug of water on the bar and on asking found this was drinking water and was offered a glass. I wasnt very happy about this as they told me a deliberate lie so I would buy water.

My husband and I feel that we paid a reasonable price for a lovely meal and a wonderful concert afterwards and would recommend anyone to go, just make sure you get tap water if thats what you want.

The only real thing I would criticise is that there wasnt any real atmosphere in the dining area, there should have been some pleasant music playing.

Doing what: Berlin City Hop-on Hop-off Tour

Although the audio is taped in a variety of individual languages(another company offers live commentary in both German and English), the bus covered all the major sights at a leisurely pace with convenient stops. The fee is very economical when you consider a taxi from Alexenderplatz to Potsdammerplatz can be 15 euros. I bought a second day hop-on/hop-off ticket just for the cost effectiveness of getting to Charlottenburg Palace and the two museums located across the street.

Doing what: Berlin City Hop-on Hop-off Tour

Brandenburg Gate and the Jewish Memorial was my favourite stop followed by the Charlottenburg Palace!

It was a delight afternoon and evening at the Charlottenburg Palace. We enjoyed the palace tour, the dinner similar to what the king would have eaten and the evening concert. The evening setting was a reminder of how things may have been in days of long ago.

My husband and I went to dinner and concert in Charlottenburg Palace on the last night of a four night trip to Berlin .We can honestly say it was the highlight of our visit. The staff were friendly, the music and operatic singing excellent, and the setting rather grand. It is well worth a visit

The concert at Charlottenburg Palace was one of the highlights of our trip. The music was performed beautifully, the audience shared our love for the selections, and the setting was intimate and authentic. I would definitely recommend this concert to anyone traveling to Berlin.

I went to the evening at the Charlottenburg Palace, which included the meal and concert. Have to say from start to finish it was a wonderful experience. I would telling people to go on this night out. If back in Berlin - I would book to go again. It's just a must do.

Charlottenburg Palace was certainly an appropriate venue for this event. The palace itself is well worth seeing. The food was OK but not reflective in quantity or quality of the price, perhaps with the exception of a very fine dessert. As for the concert, it was excellent, particularly the flautist and the soprano. They were top quality performers. The overall impression is that it was a bit kitschy, mainly because of the costumes.

The evening at Charlottenburg Palace was the highlight of our trip. Berlin is now such a new city that it nice to see what things were like before all the debacles of the 20th century.
