Doing what: Berlin Pass

The Berlin Pass was very good. You needed to be able to find some locations on your own - such as the office to pick up the pass; the boarding place for the hop-on-hop-off; and which river cruise. So it worked for us, but don't think it would be as good for inexperienced travelers.

Doing what: Berlin Pass

Dfficult to have to pick up ticket at only one location. Unless you plan to visit each and every inclusion (virtually impossible over 3 days, let alone 2 days), it is cheaper to buy the train tickets, and entryies to what you want to see there.

This was a very interesting, informative, sensitive and worthwhile tour of history that is not generally known. My guide had an excellent knowledge of Jewish life in Berlin prior to WWII.

Doing what: Berlin Pass

Very useful card to have used it for some of the museums. Did the boat trip and the hop on hop off bus tour. Was so easy to have transport cards for three days, saved having to buy tickets at the station every day.

Doing what: Berlin Pass

It was worst ever experience with Berlin pass.
I had to spend close to 50 euros on my own.

Doing what: Berlin Pass

Great Value for Money! Plenty of things to do with the card that's provided, saw a significant savings and made it much easier not to have to spend on door entries.

Doing what: Berlin Pass

My friend and I purchased these prior to our trip to Berlin last Saturday (the 21st of Jan). We weren't happy about our experience with collecting them. Prior to purchasing them, the Viator site says you collect them from the Berlin info store - they don't say which one and we both presume this to mean we can collect from anyone of them as there are several throughout Berlin. It is only when you purchase the tickets do they say exactly which one. This was wrong though and we were told by the Berlin info centre at Hauptbahnhof that it is actually at the Hard Rock Cafe, NOT the Berlin info centre. We go there and the staff just look at us like we're stupid foreigners asking for Berlin passes at a Hard Rock Cafe(!). They sent us away the Berlin info store across the road where staff there tell us that we were in the right place (the cafe) and then send us back there armed with the name of a staff member who can help us. Turns out this person she wasn't told anything about anyone coming in to collect them, she though they were samples. It would help Viator updated their site to say that it’s the Hard Rock Cafe (with a correct address) where you collect the tickets from AND that you ensure staff at the Hard Rock Cafe are trained to receive customers coming in to collect their passes. I don’t normally get upset about these sorts of things but as a foreigner new to a country I rely on a company like Viator to make things like collecting passes easy.

Carlos, our guide, is so knowledgable and makes our tour not boring.

Doing what: Jewish Life in Berlin Half Day Walking Tour

Very friendly and informative. The only flaw was a heavy downpour just before our final two stops.

Doing what: Jewish Life in Berlin Half Day Walking Tour

Excellent tour! The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour took us to the Jewish quarters and we learned a lot about the overall and 2nd world war history. Highly recommended.

Excellent Tour. Excellent Guide.

Doing what: Jewish Life in Berlin Half Day Walking Tour

The tour guide is highly knowledgeable about Jewish history. She was open to questions and took adequate time to explain the history behind the memorials, monuments, and buildings dedicated to the Jewish history in Europe & Berlin.

Doing what: Jewish Life in Berlin Half Day Walking Tour

Take this tour! You will not only see a part of Berlin you would miss on your own, but the tour contains wonderful history of the city, not just of Jewish life in Berlin. Our guide was outstanding!
