Tucked away in Berlin’s south-east, the district of Köpenick is not exactly high on the average visitor’s agenda. Which is a shame, because with its small but picturesque center, majestic palace and idyllic riverside location, it offers the charm of a historic town without the hassle of packing an overnight bag.
