I love the Wim Wenders film. I was an exchange student in Goettingen in 1987, but I spent as much time as I could in Berlin (which was my favorite city in the world in the 1980's! What atmosphere! Never again to be duplicated). I remember the and quot;sandbox and quot; of the Potsdamerplatz, and it was indeed a shock to see the modern buildings and all the changes a few years ago...No more squatter homes to stay in, either, ha! :-) I love Berlin and will have to travel back there soon. Thanks for all your information!
