This is for the athletic type of person. Crew bored. Broke loose a bit after we as a group started asking questions and they realized we for the most part had all snorkeled before ....

Capt. Ken and 1st Mate Buddha were fabulous! We have been on other snorkling trips, but nothing compares to the Kealakekua Bay experience. We saw dolphins, goats and seabirds along the way, then TONS of beautiful coral and fish in the bay. It was a nice mix of fun and education by the crew and a fantastic day overall. Beat the Crowd sailing was definitely a plus as the big catamarans left -- along with their crowds. Thanks! See you again soon....

We had a great time. The zodiac was very comfortable. We saw whales and dolphin which was very exciting. The snorkeling at Captain Cook's monument was just outstanding. Must have seen over 20 different types of fish and beautiful coral. Our guides were great (Colin and Maria). Definitely recommend this one.

Tour was a fun, informative adventure with plenty of time to snorkel and play with the critters. We saw dolphins, turtles and a score of various fish in a protected, beautiful cove. Captain Jack and Maria were wonderful hosts who spent a great deal of time explaining not only the creatures we saw, but the local history and landmarks as well. It was well worth the $.

Doing what: Snorkel, Kayak and Dolphin Experience in the Big Island’s Kealakekua Bay
What a great way to spend a morning on the Big Island! The kayaking was done at a good pace and we took frequent breaks to listen to our guide "talk story" and tell the group some Hawaiian history. John, our tour guide, was super nice, informative and knowledgeable. The snorkeling was amazing. There were so many different types of fish and sea life. On the kayak journey back, spinner dolphins were all around us! It was such a great experience.

Mitch was our guide and made this trip a great pleasure and very fun. We had snorkeled in this same bay the day before, but all the views of the island, the spinner dolphins, the rapid ride, made this wonderful -- go on this trip!!

This was an excellent trip with a smaller group, knowledgeable and fun guides, and to a beautiful snorkeling location. The only negative I can mention is the ride can be a bit rough, so take it seriously when they ask if you have back problems. Altogether a great way to spend the day!

Really enjoyable activity. First time snorkeling- it was breathtaking. On the way we were lucky enough to see a group of about 4 Pilot Whales, white tipped shark and a pod of about 50 dolphins. Guides were very good. Very good tour!
