Worth taking a trip to Boston just to do the Duck tours. Drivers very knowledgeble and keeps you laughing.
you are in boston and dont have anybody to guide you, this is the best way to roam and see many places.I doubt you can plan better on your own (unless you have local friends). Guides on the trolley were informative and good. The problem started in the afternoon. Time gap between the trolleys started increasing in the afternoon. We were a group of 4 adult + 1 toddler and had to wait for trolleys in the later part of the day. Twice when the trolleys came there were only 2 spots available and we had to wait for the next one. We couldnt hop off at the last 3 stops as it was close to 5pm and they were ending the tour. Not sure if it was isolated incident or if happens only in the afternoon when more people start taking the tour but it really screwed up the good experience we had in the morning. If you are a big group my suggession is to be there early in the morning....Hope you have a better experience than mine .
good value for money, very interesting gave a very good tour of all the sights and informed of where to get off for specific attractions. drivers were very entertaining.
We had the BEST time! Our reservation was honored.. our guide was knowledgeable and fun... and the tour was fascinating! If you get an offer to drive the Duck-Mobile, take it! One of the best tours ever, even for Bostonians!
Great overview of Boston. Good bus guides..entertaining. Needed more than one day for stopping at many locations.
I live locally and used this tour for out of state visitors. It was excellent. Each driver had a unique style, all were friendly and certainly knew their history.
